[What does this mod do? / What does this mod require?]

This vanilla-inspired and lore-friendly mod adds a variety of colorful new gloves, all of which can be bought from Radiant Raiment. Additionally, you may also find a certain lot of Daedra Worshipers wearing gloves matching their usual robes.

Nothing else is strictly required other than Skyrim.esm .

However, a Bashed Patch is highly recommended when using it with other mods that edit leveled lists.

An alternative option for those wishing to avoid edited leveled lists (or Wrye Bash, even though it's recommended) also exists in the "Optional Files" section. Interestingly, it is compatible and separate from the main mod, so if you really wanted to, you could install that plugin and get these gloves for free. I originally made it for Bethesda.net and will include it here for those interested.

Another alternative version, probably the least impressive but still kind of useful, was made with PS4 users in mind. I've decided to add it to the Nexus as well under the "Optional Files" section. While it may not add any new gloves, provided you have the base game and the original DLC's (Dawnguard, HearthFires, and Dragonborn), you can try this version that places another glovebox close to where the other alternative's container is placed. Easier access to the Vampire Gloves from Dawnguard and the Skaal Gloves from Dragonborn may seem a little cheaty, but at least it's something.

[Credits / Creation Details]

The textures included with this mod are all based on the vanilla farmer's Brown Glove texture, with some coloration edits to make it match other clothing in various robe sets (examples being Red Robes, Blue Mage variant, even the Vaermina Robes get some glove love.)

Thus, credit goes to Bethesda for their original texture, and thanks to their Creation Kit for making this possible, of course.

[Where to find them? / What are their stats?]

They can be bought at Radiant Raiment, and a couple of them have a 50/50 chance of resting with some deep-sleepers last heard of near Dawnstar. Given the spat of nightmares that town's residents have been having, there may also be some coincidence there.

Due to the technical nature of that latter feature, a Bashed Patch is highly recommended when using this with other mods that edit leveled lists.

The alternative version without leveled list edits places individual pairs of all the included gloves, even a unique set of Black Gloves not included in this particular mod's main variant (but which are included separately in another mod mentioned below), in a fancy, if not a bit small, glovebox that is also in Radiant Raiment. If you need help finding it, look around for a Mounted Slaughterfish and some candles across from the counter / main desk.

The other alternative that was built for the PS4 is still useful for picking up "surplus stock" of some of the rarer-by-design gloves. For example, oddities such as the Vampire Gloves from Dawnguard (only found in a specific radiant quest in the DLC, and nowhere else it seems) and the Skaal Gloves from Dragonborn (they are rarely ever seen with them in my experience, their poor hands must be chilly like that!). They're placed as freebies alongside the vanilla Brown Gloves, within a small chest not too far away from the other alternative's setup location.

As the various colorful gloves are simply stylish retextures of the vanilla brown farmer gloves, they don't sell for much at first, and usually cost around 10 Gold Septims a pair. Perhaps a skilled enchanter will come along and make some useful new artifacts with them someday. Just a thought!

[Installation]

Use whichever mod manager / installer you like. Load order shouldn't matter too much, but maybe sort your load order just in case.

As this mod edits some leveled lists, it is highly recommended to create a Bashed Patch using Wrye Bash and include this mod in it's dependencies when building the patch.

[Uninstallation]

Use your mod manager / installer to disable the mod, or at bare minimum, remove the .ESP that was included with this mod from your Data folder. Mod Organizer 2 makes all this very easy, by the way.

If you created a Bashed Patch with this mod as a dependency, you should rebuild it using Wrye Bash after uninstallation. Otherwise your game may crash to desktop upon starting!

[Conclusion / Permissions]

Many thanks to Bethesda and their Creation Kit software. Without them, this would not be possible.

More thanks to you, for reading, downloading, and enjoying this mod!

If you do enjoy this mod, maybe check out the other glove mod I've made. It adds Black Gloves to leveled lists and such, and is also completely separate (and compatible!) with all the mods here. Skyrim SE Version of Black Gloves is here .

If you're looking for the LE version(s) of Extra Gloves, they are here .

Permissions to reuse textures from this aren't too restrictive, all I ask is you give credit where it is due, which is both AirChomp and Bethesda.

Now, go get yourself some of these stylish new gloves, and enjoy!
