About this mod
Edits the DialogueFollower quest alias: Follower and Animal to be ESSENTIAL instead of PROTECTED.

This is an incredibly simple mod that sets the "Follower" and "Animal" aliases in the DialogueFollower quest to be ESSENTIAL rather than PROTECTED. This mod also affects custom followers if they use the vanilla Skyrim Follower system. Or at least use the Alias stuff. This mod is DLC Compatible, so no patches or extra .esps are needed.
This mod allows for Followers to be set to essential (or immortal, for those who are unfamiliar with the term) ONLY while they are following you. Meaning if you commit crimes in a town, and they get pissed and leave, you can kill them from then on. Because they are no longer your follower.
The problem with most mods that set your followers to essential is that they edit the NPC entry directly. Making them essential at all times, which makes rampages a little less fun.

Q4: What's with the dumb doodle picture? I thought you were a crappy cartoonist.
A4: I'm not spending 2 minutes thinking about what screenshot would be perfect.
Q5: Will this mod infect my Xbox One / PlayStation / PC with several terminal viruses and trojans?
A5: It's a single .esp. So no, it doesn't have any subtle viruses that will corrupt your whole game or whatever crazy things people can come up with.
