Is this only for archery? Wonder if there's an equivalent for magic, tired of "missing" destruction spells because they aim for a dragon's crotch and hitting the building it perched on instead of where I actually aimed...
This is a life changer. Like some other commenters said, I'm frustrated when there are two enemies next to each other, and they don't even have to be close, but the arrow will break physics and bend to the target I wasn't even close to aiming for. It's a wonder why I even lasted this long without doing something about it. With this mod there's a moment of relearning to shoot without the auto-aim but now I'm overjoyed to find out that I'm actually more skillful and a masterful sniper with the bow than I thought. The arrows go where I want! Good lord why was it a baked-in feature in game...
thanks...it seems to work...one thing I discovered recently in the vanilla game is that the arrow try not to hit nocs that are not aggro...even with this mod...the reticle can be aiming at the head, the arrow will go to the right to not hit...if you try to compensate, she will go to where you are aiming and not hit too...but as soon as the npc is set as enemy, the arrow will go where you are aiming...hahahha
Does anyone know - How to Disable Auto Aim (Magnetism). I don't find anything about that. The magic projectiles, such as Frost & Fire spears or whatever flying where they want, but not where my crosshair point to. And the same story about arrows. (I'm sorry for my English)
Thank you for that. I hope it works on GOG version... I missed around 5 ~ 10 shots yesterday on moving targets because of this annoying auto aim. It enraged me, and now Im here, so thanks. lol
Nothing angers me more than thinking I'm good at something, then realising it wasn't me after all, but something holding my hand and doing it for me, like I'm a small 5 year old child. Why don't they make it optional so you can just switch it off instead of deceiving me?
I tested this and it appears to be true. For those who dont have creation kit; I removed "fAutoAimMaxDistance" by opening the .esp in Notepad++, and removed the part which included fAutoAimMaxDistance separated by commas.
This needs to be pinned at top! Does getting rid of that line affect the function of this mod?
EDIT: So, from my testing, getting rid of "fAutoAimMaxDistance" in SSEEdit/changing that value to vanilla (from 0 to 1800) restores the quick command function for followers. However, it does seem to mess with my arrows. The trajectory, and even velocity of my arrows seems to change when I restore this value to vanilla. I've even tried only setting the value to 200 instead of 1800, to see if that changes things. It still produces a noticeable effect on my arrows.
As it stands, it seems that this is not an ideal fix :(

Otherwise a must have mod!
blablanulnulblabla[NUL]fAutoAimMaxDistance[NUL]blablanulnulblabla
So I removed only the fAutoAimMaxDistance but kept the [NUL] I hope that doesn't render this mod unusable.
