The Ocean Saber is a small immersive and fully functional Redguard-style player home ship in Skyrim.

I love the Redguard style and culture but any Redguard-themed player home mod in skyrim just feels little immersive and out of place. So I came up with the idea to create a ship visiting from Hammerfell! This is a total conversion of Dovahkiinthays awesome Sea Dragon mod and consequently is absolutely not compatible with the it. With the original mods authors approval, I adopted most of the the scripts, mechanics and exterior locations. Thanks to the awsome resources of DeviantKaleds Ships and Boats of Tamriel package and other contributors, the Ocean Saber feels entirely immersive and the size of its exterior fits perfectly to the interior. The mod is custom-home family compatible and has space for up to 2 children.

Upper deck:
- Master bedroom

How to get access
With 1.5 you need the Key to unlock the doors. To find the key, kill the mutineers located at the Ocean Saber close to Solitude, follow the information provided by the leaders note to the wilderness location (via steering wheel) and search on the bottom of the sea for the broken dinghy with the captain in it. The dinghy contains the key.
(When playing in survival mode, I recommend to hurry a little bit while diving in freezing water :D )
(You will have to unlock the doors once on every location becuase technically there are different ships with different doors)
Crew mechanic
To hire crew members, you will need to pick up the Ocean Saber's key. With that key in your inventory, you can ask followers and potential followers to join your crew.
The guest mechanic is no longer supported in 1.4. There was no advantage compared to the crew mechanic anyway.
Locations
As the Captain of the Ocean Saber, you can decide to travel to: Solitude, Dawnstar, Windhelm, the open sea (Wilderness) as well as Raven Rock and Tel Mithryn in Solstheim. To get to Solstheim, you will need to start the Dragonborn quest and first travel there the vanilla way.

- Incompatible with Sea Dragon and Red Shadow since they are technically defferent versions of the same mod.

Permissions
My mod is heavily loaded with other authors assets so you will have to ask them to use them. I'm fine with everything.
Known Issues
There is a map marker on the north-western corner of the map and some flying doors at the skaal-village location of the original mod I cannot get rid of at the moment. Moreover, sometimes followers refuse to follow you in the interior. I have no clue why that happens. You can teleport them to you as a little workaround.
