Do you ever get an itch which you can't quite reach? Paarthurnax does, so the Greybeards kindly supply him with back scratchers. But not just any back scratchers will do. The Greybeards have passed their ancient back scratcher crafting techniques down through the Ages, and, using scales shed by their Grandmaster and firewood, they forge the only back scratchers in Tamriel capable of satisfying a dragon's itch.

This mod adds a Paarthurnax Back Scratcher weapon which can crafted at any Forge using 1 Dragon Scales, 2 Firewood, and 1 Leather Strip. Although this back scratcher appears in many ways to be a simple wooden pitchfork, its iridescent sheen is testament to its true nature. In order to craft it, the player must have already met Paarthurnax on The Throat of the World, and have mastered the ancient techniques of the Greybeards by possessing the Dragon Smithing perk and completing The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller quest. The recipe includes crafting categories and conditions for Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered, but that mod is not required.

If the player speaks with Paarthurnax with a Paarthurnax Back Scatcher equipped, they will be prompted to "Scratch Paarthurnax" and the screen will fade to black. In gratitude for these dragon scritches, Paarthurnax will bestow a blessing upon the player; "Paarthurnax's Gratitude" increases Health, Magicka, and Stamina regeneration by 5% for 30 minutes.
