Simple Requiem patch for Livia Salvian.

Balanced to be a mid-sword-and-shield character.

Made in V4.02, but should work across all versions.

Requiem uses different perks for empowering NPCs rather than the player ones. Most player perks for Requiem’s skill trees have been recreated as NPC ones. Others aren’t perks per se, but directly boost damage, resistances, and stats in-of-itself.

There’s really no published set of rules to follow. The best way to do it is to look at how Requiem itself applies perks to vanilla NPCs, or how Requiem patches patch followers or quest mods. Only learned this through reading a couple of Reddit posts by other people who have done it.

Edits are simply done using xEdit, adding the appropriate NPC perks to the follower depending on the desired result, as compared to the edits of Requiem itself and other patches to other NPCs.

In this case, Livia should be powerful as a housecarl—a mid sword-and-shield follower, but can be more powerful if you get her the right equipment. Of course, she should level with you like any follower should. Max levelcap is 50.
