For me it is conflicting and therefore not working with the Eating Animations and Sounds, which utilizes the same folders as CCARA DAR for it's sitting animations while eating chicken breast, horse meat, and leg of goat, that's why it wont work. Easiest way how to fix it is renaming the folders from CCARA and moving your condition files there, since it is much less complicated than the other mod I would say.
Thanks for your response. I believe I found a solution for you, as noted below.
This is only a patch with condition files for CCARA and Sunhelm Survivor mode. I didn't move any folders or items or anything from CCARA, and I didn't patch Eating Animations and Sounds, as -- to my understanding -- those work by default with CCARA, and I'm really only working on patches for CCARA/DAR stuff right now.
It sounds to me that your mod conflict is not with this patch or with CCARA but with Sunhelm and Eating Animation and Sounds. I just did a quick search here on Nexus, and there is already a patch for that, luckily! :-D
No, I don't think they could work together without editing them, there is direct conflict between the folders of Eating Animations and Sounds and CCARA DAR, But that doesn't matter. I can use your edited conditions.txt and simply rename whole CCARA DAR folders to something completely different. So I installed your edits and then renamed the CCARA DAR folders and now everything works together. So thank you.
I already knew about that patch and I'm using it, but that is only for the Sunhelm waterskin, nothing else because if you want to use both of these mods together you need to disable the animations on the Sunhelm side and only use those from Eating. But that doesn't matter too to you since you are not using the Eating Animations and Sounds (which is awesome for full 3rd person playthrough btw.)
I wasn't using the CCARA DAR animations for a while since there are newer more fleshed out mods now, but now I at least can visually see that my char, is hungry.
Anyway thanks for pointing me towards the solution.
Just looked at the contents of Eating Animations and Sounds, and I totally see where you're coming from. You're absolutely right. That mod uses some of the same folders CCARA. As you pointed out, simply renaming the folders from CCARA or from Eating Animations and Sounds should fix the issue (and, from your experience, does fix it! :-D Hooray! :-D).
Thanks for sharing this here. I'm sure others will find it useful, too!
How hungry were you? I set it to work at the hungriest level (starving, I believe it was called).
I don't use Sunhelm myself, so I haven't been able to test it. I created it by request. Thanks for helping me test it! I want to make sure it works! :-D
I'm sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I use SUNHELM and I've been waiting non-stop while I was very hungry. I wanted to see if the animation appeared. But it didn't trigger. I waited for about 10 minutes. So I'm wondering, if the trigger condition of SUNHELM needs to be changed.
(1) Just double-checking, you do have Dynamic Animation Replacer and cookeh's conditional and random animations - CCARA DAR installed, right? Sorry if that's obvious. It won't work for sure without both of those, and from my understanding, it is working for the person who requested it (unless I misunderstood the conversation). Just trying to see what's happening.
(2) If you have DAR installed, do you use any other DAR mods? Do they work ok? Do the other CCARA animations work like they're supposed to?
(3) Does your character do anything at all when starving? Please check your hunger status and confirm that it said Starving, not just very hungry. The Sunhelm mod page says it takes 36 hours in game time to reach Starving.
(4) If you character doesn't do anything except the base idle after you're starving, please push a button to walk for a second and then idle again. Please try that a few times and see whether a new idle appears, etc.
(5) Do you have a regular DAR idle installed that might have a conditional file that requires that idle 100% of the time?
I'm sure this seems like a lot. Hopefully it will help us figure out how to make it work for you. :-D
I decided to make a new save and download sunhelm to test this after ffdragon let me know it wasn't working. Ironically, my patch worked ... BUT I had uploaded the wrong zip file for the mod. Oops!
Please test again. On my new save with sunhelm, when my character was starving, they had CCARA's hunger animation. :-)

Looks like you weren't the only one having that issue between Sunhelm and Eating Animation and Sounds! :-D
Hopefully that helps fix it for you!
