      Haven't played for a long time. But feel free to try it and if there is an issue post here. 
      But my dev environment might be broken so I am not sure IF I could even compile the updated version IF it is needed.

   Unfortunately for us AE users this fix is useless 
   Sorry for the negativity tho 
   Now I'm not seeing any kind of update to the mini map mod itself 
   And no I refuse to downgrade to 1.5
   Not worth losing money and finding mods again for SE 1.5

      You aren't loosing money cause the AE upgrade even works with the 1.5.97 version of the game, just don't delete them.
      Other than that I can't use the minimap either since the minimap mod is closed source and the author is not showing any life signs. Also the closed nature of the mod was even making it hard to make this fix, because it required a few hours of ques work until the code that has to change the minimap worked. So you were just stating the obvious over which I have 0 influence, while also being misinformed about the ability to still use the 1.5.97 game exe with the 1.6.x esps. Just get a main menu replacer mod and some menu theme that was made in 1.5.97 times and you get 0 issues.

      there ar some life signs. he uploadet this year some mods.i guess he just dont care (assmove) or cant bc he lost the files like most
