About this mod

Adds a moonstone ore mine in dragon's bridge behind the saw mill.

Permissions and credits
Remade from the ground up to remove Brokenhelm location errors.
Its like 6am, I started at 4pm and only stopped for lunch coz my hubby dragged me out lol.
Also fixes lighting pixelization and improves JK's skyrim compatibility.

With some lovely mods installed I realised quite quickly that I had no easy way to obtain moonstone. I searched for a mine adding mod but couldn't locate one. So I made one myself. Its in Dragon's bridge, near behind the saw mill.
It's JK's skyrim compatible.
except that there's a log in front of the door, still accessible (I'll make a proper patch in the future.). Patched.
I've also placed a safe-storage chest inside, a bedroll, two pickaxes, a pool of water where you can bathe, and copious amounts of drugs.

Why drugs? Why dragon's bridge? Why did I spend so long in one sitting patching it? [Spoiler; it was fun.]
Riverwood gets so much love. Its right next to a major trade city.

Solitude would likely do most of its trade through boats, and any carriages would need guarding due to the nearby stormcloak encampment. (wartime-y ambushes!)
I feel dragon's bridge needed a bigger reason than:
A: a saw mill.
B: a dragon skull.
C: a secret military organization. Ok actually that's a pretty good reason...
To have enough funding coming in and out of the town at least early on to have a stable population. Especially with how big solitude is; and the many lovely mods it receives. (Why wouldn't you move there?!) [Money. Curses! Foiled again by pay to play!]

This is why I chose to give the mine to Dragon's bridge.
However I quickly realised an issue. I'd put it next to a river, and dug down. [Then remade it the same way because I loved the theming it gave me.]
There's gonna be a leak eventually; then the mine will get abandoned. Joy.

but with abandoned places comes a new style of revenue. Maybe that collapsed tree is part of why its a perfect hide-away? A collapsing mineshaft in a forgotten corner of town. Plus; we know the kajhiit pass by that direction. Kahjiit has coins; if you have wares. Wait I'm confused.

The reason I made it a player home is because frankly... Why not? It started as drugs, then hay (markarth warrens theming), to a bedroll. Not every dragonborn will be the brightest. Some of them will want to live in an abandoned drug den. And those people I fully support. Me. Its me. I will sleep next to my moonstone high on moonsugar.

Remake reason was simple: I buggered up a vanilla location in how I made the mod in the first place. It now does not have that issue. Why re-add nav meshes when its easier to just NOT destroy them in the first place? 101 of modding; DON'T TOUCH THE NAV MESHES! Heck stay away from vanilla assets; don't delete anything. Download SSEdit and pray to akatosh that this version of the timeline will be cannon.

And finaly a VERY big thanks to everyone who commented, downloaded and endorsed!
Special shoutout to Thunderwulfe and sknnnn who both very kindly pointed out a rather severe flaw with the original version of the file.
Thank you all so, so much for the support!
Please tell me if you find any bugs. Its been great to give something to the community and have just... responses. Thank you. It means so much to me.
