The original (amazing) mod by 4thUnknown has a few issues. First of all it doesn’t have a working weight slider: this makes characters look very skinny, even with the slider maxed out. The other annoying issue is clipping, especially in combat animations.
In my opinion this armor is simply the best Shrouded Armor replacer on the Nexus. I thought it deserved a proper treatment. This rework features nearly double the number of polygons, a working weight slider and various fixes to eliminate basically every clipping.
You need to download and install the original mod by 4thUnknown, first.
Simply overwrite the files of the original mod, manually or with your favorite mod manager.
► Compatible ONLY with vanilla bodies, both male and female.
► Optional Ancient Shrouded Armor replacer available in the “Files” section. To install, it follow these steps:
1 ▪ download (again) the original mod and install it, as usual.
2 ▪ go to the directory of the original mod you just installed (DBArmorSE/Meshes/Armor). You will find a folder called "dbarmor": rename it to “4thUnknownDBArmor”.
3 ▪ install my archive and overwrite when prompted or use a mod manager. Activate the plugin (it is tagged as ESL, by the way!) and enjoy.
4thUnknown for this masterpeace. If you don't endorse his work your gonads will fall off.
Bethesda for one of the best games ever made. Ten years later and we’re still here, modding the s*it out of it.
The Blender Foundation for that amazing piece of software that is Blender.
