This is really simple mod for tracking based on Ref ID, that creates quest with one objective that it points towards. The objective can be changed using console commands.
It is my first mod, and as such is very basic, with some imperfections. Suggestions and advice are appreciated.
Installation: Just paste into Data folder, or use mod manager. Requires ConsoleUtils
Usage: After starting a game, a quest should pop up with "[...]" as an objective. Open a console and select object you want to track, either by clicking with mouse, or using command: prid <RefID> Then use command to trigger quest script: setStage GPSTracker 10
The quest should start tracking selected RefID
Limitations: Sometimes the pointer can be kind of weird. Especially after first selection it may not show right away, or selection of object outside cell where the compass pointer may be wrong, but the map pointer is right. For both cases, reloading the cell by fast travel, or entering another cell (entering door or dungeon) fixes this.
