This  Mod/Config was originally an re-implementation/recompile of the Original mod that changed its values for my needs and removed the arrow weight management from the mod. Since then the original mod updated to remove arrow management and added the ability to use config files. So I decided to use the original mod instead and update this mod page to just host the respective config file instead.

What does this Config change?

This is an extension to the inventory overhaul SlotSlotsSlots which has the goal that you only have to worry about your equipment weights, but not the weights of all those misc. items like books, notes or ingredients. It also categorizes the Equipment you need to manage into weight groups (the number of groups and most other settings are freely configurable) based on their base weight that then get altered into the amount of Slots in your inventory it will take up. To make this happen the whole carryweight effects and carryweight stats are being patched dynamically by the patcher to allow for this to work. The issue that I encountered with that was that follower overhauls like Extensible Follower Framework use containers for a separate storage inventory of your followers they can't access but you can and those containers just like any static container have unlimited storage. I searched and really quick found Container Weight Restrictions which addressed this issue unintentionally as well. It did a bit more in regards to arrows but it was fairly easy to use it as a baseline and repurpose it for my goals. Which were to remove its arrow management, as I didn't need it and lower the weight capacity a huge amount, since most items are weightless and "weigh" a lot less since the weight is used to indicate a slot count. Since the mod updated to add configuration options I decided to turn this into a config for it instead, since it also made arrow weight management optional.

TL;DR: To work with SlotSlotsSlots I originally removed the Arrow management from Container and Arrow Weight Restrictions and reduced the maximum weight storage by a factor of 10, now this is just a config file for that mod because it updated and added that option.

Installation

• Install and use Synthesis to add the SlotsSlotsSlots patcher and run it on your loadorder.
• Install Container Weight Restrictions and its dependencies.
• Install this addon with your mod manager. (I recommend Mod Organizer 2, accept the validity of Vortex (I can't get used to it nor help with issues caused by it) and advise STRONGLY AGAINST NMM)

Should work on any container added by mods.
