how is that? with skysa 2.7, elden counter and dbc 1.31 it doesnt work for me. i am doing a powerbash animation instead that is very slow. downgrading to 1.2 however solves the issue.
Thats a bug specific to some SkySA users. The issue is SkySA is deprecated as Distar is working on MCO as a successor. So there wont be any fix going forward and MCO is working fine with DBC and Elden Counter.
I suggest to switch to MCO available on Skyrim Guild.
I'm using this mod with mco and whenever I use a power attack after a normal attack, my character does a slowed vanilla charged attack that deals no damage. How can I fix this?
this has been fixed? i'm using SCAR only for don't have this issue but i would like to be capable of using both.... i want to make skyrim a very hard game without need to messing with the damage values, just the AI of the NPCs.
Hasn't been fixed. Just spent two days trying to figure out why my For Honor moveset pack mod was being affected, whereby all my power attacks were doing the exact same thing that OP mentioned. I tried so many things: deleting mods, sifting through all the animations, reinstalling MCO Attack to see if different versions worked; then I tried going down the list of animations that had priority in OAR, disabling them, and nothing worked. Even when I got down to the last animation that was filling in for the ones I disabled, OAR just started using the basic power attack from MCO (I'm guessing) -- my For Honor mods never took priority, even though the files were showing in OAR. Once I uninstalled the mod, I finally got all my attack animations to work. I'm sure there might be some way to mess with the code to get it to work, but that's way above my capabilities.
NPCs do a silly one-handed power attack whenever I'm far away, usually when I dodge. And if I'm close, the attack goes right through me even standing still and not blocking. Using TK Dodge

Is someone playing with Precision? Some animations have extremely short reach (shorter than weapon) no matter how I configure it in MCM, some doesn't have collision at all (enemies just swinging weapons without any impact). Has someone encountered that?
Same here. One handed power attack animation (sword, axe, mace) doesnt do any damage. The combo animation for onehand with shield power atworks was super cool though. When I uninstalled DBC, the one-handed animation dealt damage again but the cool combo with shield was gone as well and replaced with the normal power attack. At least everything deals damage now.

Its a well made all-in-one solution that I prefer to use instead of a whole stack combining SCAR + CPR + more AI mods... On top of that, it even work with other animation frameworks like SkySA and even Vanilla Skyrim.
I don't care about using Skyrim Platform, in-fact, besides having to delete the "Temp" folder on Skyrim Platform every once in a while, I never had big problems with it and my load order have 1000+ mods.
I don't get the in game message "DBC - Script initialized". NPC's don't seem to charge. I have everything needed installed, I reinstalled it several times. I have run nemesis. At this point I only have 48 mods. I really want to use this mod. Do you (or anyone) have any idea what is wrong?
Edit* Never mind, it was a load order issue. I love it. I'll just leave this here if anyone else has the same problem.

But if in doubt, load dbc after disable recoil. I have the same order and it works.
