Hi there! Have you experimented using profile sync alongside Parapet's Bethesda Plugin Manager?

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/111236

I've been encountering some strange behavior where a synced profile's load order doesn't get updated when switching from a my main profile, and I'm wondering if its an issue on my end or an incompatibility between the two.

So I switched back to the previous v1, and I'm no longer encountering issues. Probably something wrong with how I installed it. Regardless, problem solved.

Do you by chance have the 2.0.0 version still? I was running a mod list I wanted updated, and it has the github link for the 2.0.0 version as a necessary flag to hash. (Wabbajack Atomic Warefare specifically) Now its broken due to the 2.0.0 link being taken down.

There's a v1.1.1, which was the last before the rewrite, then there's 2.0.0 and 2.0.1

With that being said, I've been using the v2.0.* and haven't encountered any issues that weren't present in the older version (which are due to MO2 limitations as opposed to the plugin itself).

      Have a try with this;

      • Get the latest version 2.0.1
      • In MO2's settings, go to the plugins tab, find Profile Sync and set the loglevel setting to 0
      • In the logging panel at the bottom of MO2, right click and set the level to debug

You should see it logging in the bottom of MO2 every time it synchronises the list (or any errors if it can't)

It would be great if there was a way to keep file order and plugin order from being reset whenever you update a Wabbajack modlist for those of us that like to make  modifications.

If you reinstall a WJ list over the top of the current one, it's going to replace the load order with the one from the list, as well as replace PS with whatever version and settings of PS they have, not sure how this would be possible!

By adding [NoDelete] in front of the file name, at least it won't delete that file, it'll just place it and all the esp's at the very bottom, which is annoying to have to rearrange.

You could take a backup of the load order and mod order in MO2 and restore it after updating. I'm not sure PS is really involved in this issue at all!

Just found this mod and it's wonderful, I have mo2 organisation OCD which became so tiresome (moving every new update manually into position) I deleted all but the default profile, I just tested this, moving an updated mod into 1 profile position and having it follow in all the others was simple joy, thank you :)
I am having a slight problem though, using www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/79426 the numbered separators remain in place but the coloured headers all go to the bottom, when you move them they do not sync, changing profiles sends them all straight to the bottom again on every profile.
EDIT - The coloured separators now stay in place, it was the way they were named that was at fault, renaming them without all the extra text fixed it, nothing to do with this mod sorry :)

I am having this problem with the separators as well, they won't sync, they all move to the bottom. I can rearrange them, but then when I change profiles, they are all at the bottom. Then when I go back to the profile where I changed them, they've moved back to the bottom again.

I have them similarly named to the mod linked to in Dashyburn's post above. A couple of examples:

      ║ Modding Tools ║ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      ---║ Creation Club ║ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      ║ Vanilla Patches and Fixes ║ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      etc.

This was never a problem in the previous version I used (v1.1.1).

Rename the coloured separators without all the slashes or symbols, just use letters and they will sync properly :)

This thing is a life changer. It didn't bring my father back, but at least I don't need to keep rearranging my grass cache profile.

I cant believe I never seen this before! I manage around 6-7 profiles and since my LO is always changing, it has become a nightmare for me. THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR THIS!!

I was using this plugin from github to sync my profiles, but when I updated MO2 it got deleted and I couldn't figure out how to reinstall them without throwing up errors.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS PLUGIN. It's even better than than the old one as it updates them automatically and allows profile groups! YAYY!

      • (1.1.0) Added support for MO 2.5.0
      • (1.1.1) Portable sync profiles (Requires recreating Sync Profiles on portable instances).

I checked and it was already supported in 1.1. Thanks.

Indeed. The one where you ask yourself: "Why did I install this only today...??"
