A small mod that looks to enhance the spells Candlelight and Magelight.
Both of the spells prices have remained the same and the colors have been changed to a cool yellow colour that feels more natural than the vanilla blue
Candlelight:
The goal was to make this spell more useful with some darker nights and interiors.
To do this I increased the radius of the light by 2x, which I have found is a good balance between having a spotlight and a match.
The duration of candlelight has also be increased to 2 minutes instead of 1 which allows the spell to last through most fights without needing to recast it, sneaky players can wait for it to go out easily, and learning mages can cast it enough so that it can have an impact on their leveling.
Magelight:
I see magelight as a light that needs to light an area for a prolonged time rather than a traveling light light candlelight.
As such, this spell now lasts for 3 minutes, which i find is enough to last for most fights and to loot after the fight.
Radius has been increased 10x to allow the light to light an entire room and not just the space around you.
To help with this, the brightness has also be increased by 4x.
Optional Files:
Added an optional file that you can install INSTEAD of the main file that still increases the range of the light, but the colour remains as the original blue. Thank you themastertactician for this suggestion!
