Sunvaar-Ah - Playable Witcher Races


Witchers created from human stock are generally heartier than their Elven cousins, easily taking to the physical enhancements. Witchers created from Elven stock do not have the same robust physical build that allows their human cousins to accept the full physical mutation, rendering them slightly weaker, but allowing them to keep a larger amount of their natural Magicka as well as regenerating it. They can be taken from any of the races, although the ones of Breton and Khaijit heritage have a much lower chance of surviving to the completion of the trials. It is believed to be due to the fact that Bretons share blood with both Humans and Elves, so conflicting mutations are more likely to appear, while the unstable nature of the Khaijit Breeds interferes with the changes.

Greater Powers

Adrenal Surge: 
  • Forcing their body to enter an adrenaline-filled overdrive, a Witcher can recover from wounds and exhaustion much faster than a normal Man or Mer. This does have a drawback of impacting their magical ability and capacity, restricting their use of spells to the Signs they've created.
  • (Temporary) Recover Health and Stamina 10x faster for 15 seconds. 
  • (Permanent) Recover Magicka 50% slower

Lesser Powers

Witcher Senses: 
  • Among their more visibly obvious mutations, a Witcher possesses finely tuned senses that allow them to detect enemies and other living beings around them. This is accomplished through a combination of hearing and smell.
  • Detect Life/Detect Dead

Witcher's Sight: 
  • A Witcher has the ability to contract or expand their pupils to increase ocular accruity in low light levels. (togglable)
  • Night Vision

Inhuman Celerity: 
  • A Witcher's enhanced senses are even able to be pushed further, seeming to slow the world around them for a short time while they react to threats.
  • Slow Time 2 seconds

Meditation:
  • Enter a meditative state, focusing your mind and body on the hunt for a time, allowing you to fight at peak performance for the duration. (Opens custom Menu for selection of choice and applies additional buffs to damage accordingly)

Passives/Witcher Mutations:

Trial of the Grasses: 
  • A Witcher's mutated body is highly resistant to poisons and toxins, with a regenerative factor that purges most foreign objects from their body quickly. This carries over into a virtual immunity to disease as well. Magic also has a difficult time inhabiting mutated bodies, which not only inhibits the Witcher’s  natural magical pool, but also gives them a form of resistance to external magic. 
  • Disease Resist 100%
  • Poison Resist 60% 
  • Magic Resist 60%
  • Reduce Magicka by Human/Beast(80) or Elven(60)

Eyes of A Beast: 
  • The eyes of a Witcher carry the most prominent sign of their mutation, having been altered to look like some creature of the night. The unnatural color and appearance is a clear indicator that they are not normal, and like vampires or werewolves, this lends itself to a distinct and healthy amount of fear in the general populace.
(Intimidation attempts are more likely to succeed. Has a chance to strike fear into low level enemies, causing them to flee combat.)


How to play: Start the game and select either Human Witcher Race or Elf Witcher Race, customize your Witcher how you like, also included is a few eye options from the Witcher 3 eyes mod.

What's so special about these races?
Witcher Races come with unique powers and signs(spells), as well as racial abilities. New unique Silver and Steel swords can be crafted at a forge under Steel category and tempered at a grindstone.
These races will use whatever body appearance mods you have installed. The Elven Witcher Races take more after High Elves, and Human Witchers take more after Nords.

Included in this mod is the Witcher Signs mod by Kittytail, also the upscaled textures for those signs by XilaMonstrr, Silver Edge - Silver Sword mod by Vilidran and a few Witcher 3 Eyes by Oaristys.
