I am no good at computer stuff so I dont know how to do it myself, but it would be cool to have standalone versions because Im a big whiterun guy so I would gear myself or a follower up with that armor, but I just really like the theme from that one guard armor replacer that makes them look like rohirrim.

for some reason it doesn't work. Do you need a new save?

It probably works best on a new save since it's messing with level lists and outfits. Any guard already loaded in will be wearing whatever they had on before installing. You can try opening the console, clicking on guards, and doing resetinventory to get the new outfits on. If that doesn't work then it's likely a load order issue.

I might make one for the heavy stormcloak officer, I always intended to make a patch but I never got around to it/felt motivated to do so. Permissions are open on the meshes, so if I never do it someone else can.

Thanks for this great mod, guards look way better.

Is it compatible with a mod that add armor on some guard via SPID distribution ?

    Thanks.

Nice mod! Just a heads up though, some of the heavy armors are missing the calves on the meshes. Usually not a big deal, since most guard boots cover the calves, but if you use SPID to distribute some other footwear to the guards or if you equip them yourself with a pair of shoes you can see that you have no calves and there's no leg at all between when your pants end and your feet start.

EDIT: went to fix it, and I can see them in bodyslide, so I am not sure what is going on

Could be some flag in the armor records that disables that part of the mesh when shoes are on, but I really don't have a clue. That can happen even with vanilla meshes if I recall, if you equip bonemold gauntlets while wearing college novice robes it sets parts of the arm invisible even though they shouldn't be. Next chance I get I'll take a look and see what I can do, but that won't be for a while, sorry.

Love the mod! But is there a way that I can make it so all of the guards wear the armors?

In xedit you can remove the light armor outfits from the guard armor lists. The heavy armor lists contain the new armors.
