About this mod

Fix your economy by providing a proper gold sink to get rid of all that excess wealth

Permissions and credits
Fresh back from adventuring, the Dragonborn is weighed down with the sheer amount of gold he's looted liberated from tombs of various races and the bodies of war torn peoples trying to make a living bandits, do you find yourself sighing with a lack of things to spend money on? I mean, you already can craft a better weapon than any blacksmith, enchant with spells far more powerful than the College of Winterhold. And let's not even get STARTED on alchemy. What's a Dragonborn to do?

You, my friend, need a gold sink. Something to dump all that money into, and forget about it. You need a literal Gold Sink™ (Patent Pending).

Fix your economy by ridding yourself of that glut of gold! Free your Housecarl from carrying your burden of Septims! SINK THAT GOLD!

Very Intelligent Questions

So this is a sink made of gold?

Why yes, my most esteemed customer. It is, in fact, a sink made of gold! And if you activate it, you put your gold into it!

Well that's neat. But I've already got a Gold Sink - Build Your Own Windstad Farm of Blackthorn. What does this give me that they don't?

Well those mods, you see, aren't TRUE gold sinks. They simply kick the can down the road. Sure, you can put in a ton of gold to them, but in the end you simply have yet ANOTHER form of revenue with which to give you tons of little coins to break your back with. They don't PROPERLY rid you of excess gold.

Also they're not sinks made of gold, so are they really gold sinks?

Is this immersive and lore friendly?

Yes, absolutely! See, this sink was possessed by a Daedric Prince named...uh....Smaug. That's right, Smaug. And he LOVES gold. So you put your gold into the sink and he gobbles it up.

Okay, I've activated it and it took (pick one:) 10,000/all my septims. Now what?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.

How do I get my gold out?

You don't. That's the point. Smaug has it now.

Oh, so it builds value and then I sell the sink?

Unfortunately, over the years it has absorbed so much gold that it's far too heavy for even the strongest Dragonborn to shout out of position, let alone lift. It is rooted in place and you cannot sell it.

So this just....deletes gold?

Yes, absolutely, my most astute customer! You understand! Skyrim's economy is saved from the chaos provided by excess dungeon diving! Huzzah!

But....why?

Why what? It's a gold sink! That's what they're for! Enjoy!

Installation
Use a mod manager/organizer to install, or drop the loose files into your Skyrim data folder.

Compatibility
I stuck the sink in Breezehome, so likely to have some issues with stuff that overhauls that. Otherwise, go nuts.

People in discord for putting up with my dumb sense of humor
Shout-out to icecreamassassin who was going to let me re-use one of his scripts for a more complex version I was thinking of making, but I decided to be lazy since this is (kinda) a dumb joke (even if it does technically solve some problems)
