First time playing Skyrim. Installed Endergleam V3. Problem is that I have a 32:9 (5120x1440p) monitor. Endergleam uses SSE Display Tweaks. I played around with a lot of settings. Turned monitor reso to 2k from windows settings. Turned monitor panel into two separate 2k monitors. Nothing works. Game gets still stretched to my native 32:9 AR with big distortions and cutouts.
I installed this mod (the third option for my reso). I unselected SSE Display Tweaks and activated your mod. Still doesn't work.
Any way you can help me solve this? Ive been troubleshooting a lot with different guys in the Modpacks discord but haven't been able to crack it.
2 separate times, the game booted with 2k reso when I had my monitor reso set to 2k from windows settings. The UI and everything was perfect. They must have been lucky shots because the game didn't boot with the right reso again, without having changed settings in between..
Really frustrated. Losing hope of exploring the Skyrim universe :c
This is not working for me on 5k monitor 5120 × 2880 for a couple of mods, Add Item and Constructible Object Custom Keyword System. It works for 5120 × 1440 though. Would it be possible for you to add compatibility for 5k or do you know of another solution? Same result with Complete Widescreen Fix for SkyUI 5.2 SE Alpha - 2560x1080 mod.
Wildlander is finally released, but ultawide resolutions are disabled by default, and the staff refuses to support ultrawide. Do you know, how I could get it to work in dual 2k? Thanks in advance!
UI scaling is a different beast. And the last time I did it, it required a shaky collection of mods, UI scaling files and a lot of work to make it work.
Then you got something that "almost" worked, but had the issue with severe "fisheye" effect where anything on the "sides" were greatly magnified while only what was exactly in the middle was normal sized (dependent on fov setting).
If you want to go down that route, you can look into it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1778
I think this MOD can be a blessing for some. It took me quite a bit of time researching how to get my 5120x1440 to work right. Also took time getting used to gaming on one period (you literally have to turn your head to see everything).
Though I love my set up now, I would have jumped all over this mod had it been out earlier. If for some reason you try this MOD and it's not to your taste, below is what I do:
Spoiler:
Show
I play AE (1.6+)
SkyUI Ultrawide UI FIX + SkyUI patch + other optional files as needed SkyUI - Survival Mode Integration (adds back warmth numbers)
Change resolution in Skyrimprefs.ini (the one in MO2) to: [Display] iSize H=1440 iSize W=5120
I still have a slight "fisheye" effect on the sides and the character creation menu is still not scaled right, but I'm either in 1st person or have a hood/helmet on, so don't care what the character looks like. There is a RaceMenu patch provided in the Ultrawide UI Fix optional files, but never used it.

Edit: Why is the resolution scaling 0.75, not 1?
Check other comments for link to something that might work.
