Hello! Earlier this year, I started on a small project to retexture Kaidan's armor. I reached out to CaBaL120 for permission wondering back in May and got the green light to use some of their assets from the aMidianborn series. You can find the original mods here and here. As for the rest of the assets used, the portions of the vampire armor were done by Xavbio via his Vampire Armors and Weapons Retexture mod.
What's Covered
- After spending many hours hunting for the decals originally used in the original design, I finally landed on two of the three needed to complete the set. I managed to find the tiger and dragon decals, however had trouble finding a replica of the wolf variation, so as of now that set is blank. It's still HD, however, there is no additional decal on top.
- Each portion of Kaidan's primary armor set has been retextured and upscaled.
- Various diffuse maps of clutter, weapons, and clothing have been upscaled.
- All textures are 4K or less. Most are the same size as the original, except a few were increased by x2, such as Kaidan's armor.
- Both sets for the available masculine and feminine frames are retextured! However, there is one catch. If Kaidan wears his armor, as usual, he will have the original tiger decal on his upper chest area. If your character equips his armor and happens to have a feminine frame, the armor will NOT have the tiger decal on it. This is purposeful as I could not concave the design to match the original for the life of me, as the decals need to be contorted to fit properly over the bust area.
