About this mod
This patch mod seeks to combine and blend three major expansions for Whiterun; Capital Whiterun Expansion, Whiterun Expansion Redone and Dark's Whiterun Market.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
This is a straightforward combination of three of the best (in my opinion) expansions to Whiterun. Synthesis deconflicts the places where these mods overlap and seeks to make them blend together. The most notable changes include:
-Redesigning the upper walkway of Whiterun Expansion Redone to bend away from Jorrvaskr to match up with the new district Capital Whiterun Expansion places in the Southeast of the city interior.
-Adjusting the Inn from Dark's Market and the Customs House from Capital Expansion so they fit together instead of fighting for space
-Adjusting the entrance to Whiterun so new merchants from Capital Whiterun aren't buried in changes to the walls
-An overhaul of the Navmesh around Whiterun
Installation:
This mod is simply a patch to the base mods and requires all 3 of them. The load order for the ESPs should be:
SurWR.esp
WhiterunAddition.esp
WhiterunMarket.esp
WhiterunSynthesis.esp (<-- that's this mod)
*Use the regular version of Capital Whiterun Expansion, not the exterior compatibility version. This mod accounts for the exterior changes
Credits
*This mod is inspired by Whiterun: The City of Walls by 1990srider. This is intentionally a much slimmed down version of the same idea which seeks to greatly expand Whiterun itself without sprawling in to the rest of the hold, because that's my personal preference. If you want to see Whiterun at its biggest and grandest please check out TCOW (1990srider is currently in the process of overhauling it as well.)*
Credit for all the content of these mods goes to their original authors. The right to give or revoke permissions regarding those mods also still belongs to the original authors:
