I use this with an immersive candlelight spell and it's perfect :) highly recommend this combination https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39343 At first vanilla distance wasn't affected because it was overwritten by Lux.. now when I load magelight after Lux, it's fine :)
But I found minor bugs: - when I leave a location and go back, my magelights change back to vanilla ones with smaller distance and fire lights stop emitting lights.. - Also when you cast magelight on someone I like that it creates candlelight, BUT modded magelight doesn't disappear like the vanilla one do after touching the person, making it a bit weird to have two lights for one cast. If you could make this light disappear like the vanilla one, that would be super cool!
Hi! I use both this mod and your Candlelight mod. I notice they kind of overwrite each other. All spells are available in the game files, but Farengar will only sell the one lower on my load order, and only that one will be sitting on his table. One time I reloaded and the Candlelights were on the table while Magelights were in his inventory. It would be great if you could tweak the mods to play nice, like maybe have candlelight books on the left of the table and magelight on the right. So it looks odd with just one mod, but you can use both without breaking immersion with the console
