Hi, I'm not sure I got it right. Can the synthesis patcher totally replace the mod ? or does it help support modded enchantements but the esp from this nexus page is still needed ? I use synthesis and wouldnt mind saving a plugin slot. Thanks.
You always need this mod, because it contains the effects that give you xp. The patcher is for automatic compatibility with enchantment mods. The base plugin is flagged as esl, so it doesn't take up a slot. In many cases you can also flag the Synthesis plugin as esl.
The listed required mod, Scrambled Eggchantments, no longer exists except as a single archived file you cannot download. This fix was not rolled into Scrambled Bugs as far as I can tell. I also cannot find any replacement for the fix in any other mod; though I could have overlooked it. Does anyone have any insight into this or is this mod now dead / need updating?
The patches list of Scrambled Bugs contains Improve Multiple Enchantment Effects. That's what you need. It's enabled by default, so you should be good.
The xp gain from enchanting items is hard-coded and only very few mods can actually change it without also changing other xp sources (disenchanting and recharging weapons). If you still get xp from disenchanting or recharging weapons then I don't know what could be causing it.
NIce mod. So, if I am using a mod called Requiem, 3tweaks, btweaks and ftweaks, would using Synthesis patch it? I think, Requiem and those tweaks modify vanilla enchantments, and possibly add new enchantments. I got Synthesis and found your mod and it looks like I can modify 3 things.
So I guess my main question is, if I use a modified enchantment or added enchantments from others mods, will I just gain no experience? Gonna try it out anyway, but just checking in case.
Yes, it works with all enchantments that can be learned by disenchanting apparel.
The patcher detects an enchantment as player-made, if it can be learned by disenchanting. As a result, an enchantment that cannot be obtained that way will not work, but I don't know if it's even possible to learn enchantments via scripts or something.
Yo, i was wondering if you could make another mod, or add to this one the feature to also get enchanting xp by attacking with enchanted weapons. If not, or if you think that would be too op, thats ok. Either way, great mod, thanks!
Hi. This might be a dumb question, but from the description it says "Using custom enchanted items in battle levels enchanting." Does this mean that the player won't earn any experience from using pre-enchanted items, like the default magic robes that each school has, for example?
The ESM status ensures it loads early and doesn't override other enchantment mods. If you are not using other enchantment mods, the load order doesn't matter anyway. If you are using other enchantment mods, this mod should be loaded before them and then you should use the Synthesis patcher to handle the compatibility.

I am asking because i want to find out which mod is interrupting the normal enchanting leveling progression

Lol, nvm. The answer is yes.
