Introducing Grosta the Lumberjack. This mod is a visual make-over for the vanilla Grosta of Heartwood Mill. She's now a follower and with a custom Lumberjack class and combat style with marriage potential. See the detailed description below for more.

D E S C R I P T I O N : As stated in the brief overview, this mod is a visual make-over for the vanilla Grosta. Her default appearance felt out of place given her story and the optional side-quest she provides. Now she's a lot prettier than before, a lovely green-eyed redhead. Also made her son a matching red-head as well. She's a follower now with marriage potential. Has her own personal Lumberjack Class and Lumberjack Dual wielding Combat Style. She wields two unique 'ebony' woodsman axes. Her right-hand primary weapon is a chaos weapon while her left-hand secondary is a lunar weapon.

♦ Version 1.3.0 Update: Fixed wrong 'inventory image' for Grosta's two unique 'Ebony 'Woodsman Axes that she dual-wields in 1.3.0.
H E R V A N I L L A B A C K G R O U N D : Grosta runs the Heartwood Mill on the shores of Lake Honrich, west of Goldenglow Estate, near Rifton. Her husband Leifnar has disappeared leaving her to run it by herself. She lives there with her young son Gralnach who'll fight you if he has to, or so he says he will. Tip my hat to the Little man trying to protect the homestead and his mom.
S P E C I A L N O T E : In the homestead, there is an unlocked wooden chest to the left of the first bed, that's "Grosta's Chest" with her gear in it. Two outfits, Sparrow Huntress and The Lady Alina both by Sunjeong. I personally use the Sparrow Huntress outfit as her Standard Gear while the Lady Alina outfit is intended for town apparel; if using a mod like Nether's Follower Framework, or Amazing Followers Tweaks.

Some people have experienced a problem with the Follower option NOT showing up in dialogue after completing her initial quest. This is mainly due to Grosta being an NPC that was never intended on being a follower by Bethesda. (Note, that on an un-modded vanilla game, or one without a follower framework it is impossible to make her a follower even with console commands.) However, with that being said, mods that alter or outright change an NPCs Follower dialogue can change this problem. Many Follower Framework mods; like AFT, IAFT, and NFF resolve this. For those not using a follower Framework mod, you will at least require RDO, (Relationship Dialogue Overhaul) to have the follower option show up.

Progress is happening on the next update. Enough change and addition to warrant skipping a few version numbers and going straight to 2.0.
Version 2.0.0 will be adding Grosta's new voiced dialogue lines (by xVASynth2) to take place after her main quest has been completed to find her missing husband Leifnarr. A lot of dialogue is being added to facilitate a continued conversation with Grosta immediately after completing her main quest. This dialogue will start a new quest called 'Grosta's Plight' in which she'll explain the dire circumstance that her son and she are now in. This dialogue opens the door to future dialogue with her after she is left alone for a while out of respect to mourn the loss of her late husband. After this set time passes and the Dovahkiin returns to speak to her, more dialogue becomes available as well as the option to have her as a follower, plus the possibility to start a courting path with her for an eventual marriage partner if the player so chooses. I still want to make her son, Gralnach adoptable on the condition of marrying Grosta, (but have yet to implement that aspect which will change as I get there slowly). Please don't inquire about the release of 2.0.0 as it will be done when it is done.
