THANKS good job, im running 698 mods your save worked first time and still works . im using ver 353, there was a fair amount of tweaking mod settings...everything is great. but everyone thinks im a wolf. serrana thinks i smell funny. and lydia walks like she has been humping dragons THANKS
I recently downloaded this to try and set it up to play individual quest mods with a complete character. I've documented my findings here as a sort of review to help out anyone interested in it too.
Every quest is complete as advertised with all the player’s items stored in Breezehome. Aela the Huntress is the player's wife at Winstad Manor along with all the CC pets but no kids. All four hearth fire homes fully built with seperate stewards. Lakeview and Winstad have most furnishings but Heljarchen has none and is unable to be furnished via the steward for some reason.
Although not stated, this save originates this is continued from save C of this first upload (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1527) which was continued for CC content in this second upload (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57575) . The original save works perfectly which I can vouch as I've tried it myself before, but requires the unofficial patch which has been removed along with other mods that were added to the save by the second uploader. Although it has been cleaned this sort of thing can often cause issues and is likely why the vanilla game sees it as corrupt and kicks you to the main menu on first load before loading normally afterwards.
The player is a nord character with many changes made by console commands. He has the Dunmer racial passive added which can be removed by “player.removespell 000AA021“ in the console. Every perk in the game has been unlocked artificially and he has been given 1000 magicka, health and stamina. He is level 100 but only has all his skills at 100 which (without legendary) which would normally equate to level 81. These inconsistencies caused by messing with the console mean that if the player's race is changed all the levels, attributes and skills will screw up and need to be further messed with to fix.
Overall this is still a useful and functional save thanks to the second and this third uploaders for continuing it, but due to ill-advised mod and console behaviour could be volatile for anyone wanting to use this for a play through, so maybe it is best for testing purposes.
Its not that i dont appreciate what you did, I just learnt the hard way that using someone else's save file gonna mess things up even if you install just one mod. I lost tons of progress to black screens. Have you tried using mods on this file?
I didn't use any mods whilst playing with the file although now I'm just running the file with USSEP, SkyUI and A Quality World Map, and it seems to be running fine. The black screens is an issue with Anniversary Edition as far as I know and not actually mods.
Since I was only interested in having an up-to-date version of Skyrim without the CC content, this save was a no-go for me as I had black screen issues.
Hey lad, a heads up this save file at one point was modded before having a complete vanilla re-install to the state it is now. This is how problems such as the player character being headless occurs.
