As far as I can tell, this still works as of March 2024. I believe I used the most up-to-date meshes constructing this.

    does

Stonewall02 and Stonewall02platform need to match stonewall01 to look good?  and do these textures need to be a 2:1 ratio for width?

I haven't modded Skyrim in a long while so very late reply, but as I recall:

      • Stonewall02 and Stonewall01 should be consistent, as in sourced from the same place (you could probably match up different textures, but you'd have to compare).
      • Stonewall02platform 100% does not need to match. It's very limited use.

Wow, holy hell, all that copy and paste. For next time there's a nif texture replace xEdit script. Kinda annoying to use but works very well if meshes have multiple shapes with same paths. I would link it, but forgot where I got it.

yoooooooo thanks for this. I'm using a pretty unique Whiterun and Riften texture and it looked HORRIBLE in Falkreath. now Falkreath can look beautiful in its own separate way! I replaced all the textures in the folder with ones of my choice and I love it :)

A much needed mod. Thank you. My problem was just with the rhombus texture from Riften, here it was used inappropriately.

This should be included as an option with the COTN download! I recently changed my WR textures and then visited Falkreath and realised how aweful it suddenly looked LOL!

Thanks for this. I use Niskope to choose my texture path so I can see the changed without having to constantly load the game up.

This is absolutely fantastic. I love the COTN series, but you're right, sometimes the textures end up combining in weird ways and do not look great with texture overhauls. I find I really hate the COTN interiors in particular. For people who are looking to compare textures without ENB or whatever else, to hand-select textures for COTN Falkreath based upon this filepath set: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9649 might be helpful. This is what I am planning to do.

I have no idea if you use other JK/COTN cities, like Dawnstar, Morthal, or Winterhold, but if you do go through the trouble of doing this for those cities, please please post!

You need help getting this to work with TGC, JK's Skyrim, and COTN Falkreath? I have them working, patched like crazy tho. Have to manually do some of it because of the Falkreath Patch Collection's limitations

I'm endorsing and giving you a Kudos just for the sheer amount of copy and paste. I like the idea too, I would suggest you look at Hein84's Vivid series too. I use his by and large and try matching occasionally but this is when we really need something like the Skyrim Texture Combiner. Have you thought about looking at that? It is a utility for the LE version of Skyrim that basically ran a BAT file to select all textures in a load order. It was really neat using it in Skyrim, I really wish we had a utility like that.

Until then excellent work and I'm keeping this mod and your others tracked.

Thank you for your work Repzik.
