Walked into a tavern as medium-sized Redguard man, 2nd level noob. At the bar stood this huge Orc warrior, he must've been 6 and a half feet tall. In VR he was VERY imposing, and he knew it.
"Go home, milk drinker..." he said as I went to the bar.
I gingerly ordered a meal, quietly.
Women are generally shorter, except high elf women.
A simple Mod that does a great job. Thanks, Mr. Modder, great work! :) p.s The Orc is part of another Mod that adds wandering and random npcs to places.
Females are generally shorter than men in real life and this should reflect in fantasy for believability. I know that the general Western mainstream media thinks it's got to have all women the same size or bigger than men in games cos "muh equality", but Reality and Nature doesn't care. It is what it is, neither good nor bad. I will use this Mod. Cheers.
Let us be real here though, I disagree on one thing in this mod : Argonian sizes.
If this is indeed based on fantasy race sizes, Lizardmen usually portrayed as taller than any other races due to being either descendants of dragons or dinosaurs or something like that. Given Argonian nature being fish-lizard fusions, They have to be taller than the rest of the races imo. They're also pretty much "dinosaurian" in Skyrim unlike previous games where they were "scaly humans" (arena)/"snakes with limbs" (daggerfall)/ "anthropomorphic chameleons" (morrowind)/"fish people with limbs and lizard tail"(oblivion).
The only, and literally the only one where I've seen with lizardmen having a distinct size advantage instead of being slimmer and slightly taller than regular humans is in Goblin Slayer where the lizardman shaman is an absolute unit. And we still don't know if he's the standard appearance of his race or not
Lizard folk in Divinity 2 are far taller than humans, and, in fantasy genre anime for example, lizard-like people are usually at least slightly taller. I don't know the case with D&D, but that's only 1 interpretation of fantasy, even if it's one of the most popular ones. D&D style can be your preference, but it's still no more correct than any other rendition. That said, TES argonians aren't tall. Making them bigger would be a matter of preference, and not lore friendly.
If we're gonna argue about lizard men using fantasies of different writers then this battle will never be won and is pointless. All it takes is someone else to make up a story where lizard men are 50 feet tall and suddenly people will be arguing for that!
No? Lizardmen in warhammer are way bigger (except big'uns AKA old orks, and maybe gors). The thing with saurus (lizardmen) is that they have a pose that make them look much smaller than they actually are.
this makes my lore brain hurt, you made wood elves bigger? they were already far too tall, wood elves are chest height at best, the khajiit are a more complicated issue assuming were not dealing with ja' khajiit they were probably about the right size...in general i find this to be poorly researched for elder scrolls cannon
this all wouldn't be an issue but this is an immersion mod that ruins my immersion...just saying
Hello everyone, does anyone know a workaround so the player won't get affected by this mod? I love that all NPCs are taller but I'd like to remain vanilla size. Custom race is not really an option for me, I have to little knowledge on how to find folders and copy-paste textures, meshes etc. CK I dont have it, I dont know how to install, never used it. Any other workaround that you know of? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Shame on me for not seeing this sooner. For anyone that may still need it, the mod you want is Player Size Adjuster. Place it under Skyrim Sizes in your load order and make sure you go into MCM to select what size you want to be. For vanilla is 1x. You can adjust your werewolf and vampire lord form as a bonus.

Still works on GOG version.

Just leave them as they are.
