About this mod

This is the third expansion pack to seamlessly merge with Skyrim's existing music, composed entirely by myself. It features 7 individual tracks which predominantly play in Bloated Man's Grotto, the area for Hircine's questline.

The third in a series of expansions to Skyrim's music. My goal is to add create entirely new music which fits in seamlessly with Jeremy Soule's existing music, with a focus on adding location and situation-specific tracks. Much of the music in Skyrim is pulled from a collection of various snippets, with hardly any areas having dedicated tracks. I intend to change that, as adding tracks, not only to the generic pool but also giving each area their own theme, will be a large boost in immersion.

This pack adds music to Bloated Man's Grotto, a theme unique to the area. This follows the same design as the existing music, featuring a full-length track and shortened versions (palette tracks) which expand the overall musical experience whilst keeping things fresh. Extra care was given to the waveforms, so the music will be of a similar volume and fade in/out as the original tracks.

This is now my third mod and written music pack for Skyrim. I hope you enjoy it, and be on the look out for future packs!

Compatibility

It should be compatible with almost all mods. If there are any issues with compatibility with other mods, please let me know in the comments, and I'll make a patch for them. There are no hard compatibilities, due to my scripted music system. If in doubt, load other music mods further down in the list.

I have a very interesting project in the works, which will allow for all music mods to be completely compatible. Stay tuned!
