This mod changes how Last Seed handles water sources. Craft a Water Keg as a new placeable water source. At water sources (Keg, Rain Barrels, Wells, Fountains), drink or refill all waterskins (empty/dirty/clean) with clean water. Refill waterskins from open water (sea, river, stream, pond, waterfall) without need for patched records.

This mod changes how Last Seed - Primary Needs Wellness Disease handles water sources. Craft a Water Keg as a new placeable water source. At water sources (Keg, Rain Barrels, Wells, Fountains), drink or refill all waterskins (empty/dirty/clean) with clean water. Refill waterskins from open water (sea, river, stream, pond, waterfall) without need for patched records.
Features
Water Keg
A new water source, crafted from Iron Ingot (x1) and Firewood (x2). Place anywhere. Activate to use or pick up.
Water Sources
Kegs, Rain Barrels, Wells(*), Fountains(**). Activate to use. Drink (quench thirst) or Refill all available waterskins (empty/dirty/clean) in inventory and Provisions with clean water to full capacity.
Open Water
Equip an empty waterskin to receive full waterskins:
- in sea water - sea water in all empty/dirty waterskins
- at a waterfall - clean water in all available waterskins
- at a snow bank - a snow waterskin
- in rain (Frostfall required) - a clean water waterskin
- in shallow water - clean water or dirty water (unlucky) in all empty/dirty waterskins
- in water - clean water in all available waterskins or dirty water (very unlucky) in all empty/dirty waterskins
Quench your thirst while refilling with clean water.
Open Water detection
This mod uses an elaborated formlist of water objects to detect the presence of water without having to patch water records to set the dangerous/damaged flag. However, the recommended option and the better performance choice is to install Powerofthree's Papyrus Extender, it adds a native water detection function. If Papyrus Extender is detected, its water detection function will be used.
Dirty Water
You will always get clean water from open water when option "Dirty Water Disease Chance" is set to zero.
Patches for other Water Sources
Optional patches are available for (*) Water from Wells and (**) Drinking Fountains of Skyrim for SSE. These patches override the "Last Seed" provided patches which are no longer required.

Installation
Install Last Seed Water after Last Seed. Use your mod manager for FOMOD install, select the main package (ESPFE format) and any options (ESPFE) for Wells and Fountains. Install Powerofthree's Papyrus Extender, it is a SKSE plugin and has no effect on your load order. In load order, install LSW after LS, install LSW patches after LSW and disable corresponding LS patches if you want to preserve ESPFE slots.
