About this mod

Get rid of this annoying looping chime sound when a restoration spell is sheathed.

Mutes THIS annoying sound:

This was a VERY long time annoyance for me that I HAD to correct for sheathed restoration spells. This looping chiming sound was just getting on my nerves and driving me crazy. This is the exact same Vanilla sound BUT without the annoying chime loop sound when you have a restoration spell ready in your hand.

You'll only hear the normal sheath and unsheath sounds but no more looping chimes.

Installation

Use your mod manager or manually unzip in your game's DATA folder.

Compatibility

Compatible with everything that does NOT change this file:
Data\Sound\fx\mag\restoration\mag_restoration_drawsheathe_lpm.wav

I honestly do not think that you will get any compatibility issues because there are not many mods changing that exact file. Of course, if you installed an audio overhaul, it may cover this file in which case, you can simply overwrite with this mod or simply not install this mod at all. But if you are here, it's probably because you want to get rid of this annoying sound too so, simply overwrite or load after any mods.

This mod covers one single WAV file so it won't break anything if you make a mistake. At worst, you'll continue hearing the looping chime sound and at best, you'll stop hearing the looping chime sound.

What did you change?

I simply edited this file with a free tool called Wavosaur and muted the sound between the 2 looping points. I also added a small fade out and fade in effect on the start and end loop points to avoid the obvious cut in the sound effect. That's all.
