Just gunna put this here for posterity. If you're already having issues just kill the horse. It comes back and she doesn't seem to mind. A bit immersion breaking but that's what happens when wires get crossed.

doesn't work, I got that to stop her completely summoning it, I don't use convenient horses and I will never will I just don't want her to summon the stupid thing
She can't use the convenient horses because it seems to break her. In my game, after buying a horse, dialogue options disappear and its main mission does not work, when you arrive at the place nothing happens and it does not have dialogues about the place, it simply breaks it
FAQ: Will this work on a game in progress? Probably not unless you clean the existing script from your save.
Which script needs to be cleaned? Unfortunately I found the problem with her dismounting only after already starting the game and making good progress. Loading a save with this mod installed causes immediate freeze on load. I would like to test it after removing the offending script in ReSaver and trying again.
Hey, currently trying to do this using ReSaver. I removed the script instance, but Auri still won't dismount. Currently using NFF and Convenient Horses.
I've tried the version with the Convenient Horses fix in Refined Auri - Song of the Green, but Auri still won't engage during battles from a horse mounted state.
Steps I've done:
1. Opened ReSaver, filtered `AuriPlayerMountscript` 2. Unfurled `Script Instances`, removed the script instance 3. Save to a new slot
I've also tried deleting the quest that gets attached to Auri (RefID: 50392392) where the script instance is attached, but then Thistlefoot never gets summoned.
I've tried both the Convenient Horses fix with and without. I'm holding on to this current save as I have a significant amount of hours already logged into this modlist and save, so hopefully I'll be able to get this going. She's never behaved correctly since I picked her up around Falkreath when I installed her (with and without the CH fix, I already had this dismount fix when I installed her).
Upon further digging, I found out that the CH fix only adds Auri to the faction: CHFollowerFaction "Convenient Horses - Follower Faction" [FACT:F706FD0C]
Upon checking the Script Instance it's a the vanilla current follower faction: CurrentFollowerFaction [FACT:0005C84E] From my understanding, this just simply fixes any compatibility issues if you decide to forgo Thistlefoot and have her mount a CH horse.
Still a bit lost on how to proceed with this on my current mid-playthrough install save, for now I'll try to do a new save and test if this dismount fix will take effect.
The good thing about this update 1.1.0 is that my game doesn't crash anymore, but Auri still doesn't dismount when I dismount, nor even in a fight. The only way I "fix" it, is hitting Thistlefoot (or letting the enemies do damage to it), so it dies and disappears, that makes Auri to fall to the ground and only then is when she dismounts and can start fighting.
this is my experience auri Thistlefoot she wont dismount when i dismount she still riding Thistlefoot even in combat she won't dismount i have experience crash when i ride a carriage when auri riding Thistlefoot.
Not working for me either. I cleaned my save and deleted the script. It's such a shame because she's a great follower but basically unplayable with the constant crashing due to her buggy ass mount.
