I know this comment is long abandoned, but I'm bored so... The Sunfire version has 20 Fire damage, 10 Sun damage and an extra 10 Sun Damage to Undead. So what this means is that non-undead recieve 30 points of damage (20 fire and 10 sun) while Undead take a full 40 damage (20 Fire and 20 Sun). The Holy Fire version deals 20 Fire damage and an extra 20 Sun damage to Undead. That means non-undead take 20 Fire damage while Undead take 40 damage (20 Fire and 20 Sun). So by this math, the better of the two us Sunfire because it deals the more damage to non-undead than the Holy Fire version while dealing the same amount of damage against Undead as the Holy Fire version.
The damage is technically wrong. Sun damage is intended to work as a "undead take triple damage" effect. There's very few weapons with it, but they all follow the same formule. If it has 10 sun damage, it deals that 10 sun damage to everybody. It has a secret, invisible effect that is "sun damage for undead only", at double that. So, in the example - 20. So everybody gets 10 sun damage, but the undead get 20 too, making it total 30 sun damage from both effects.
Your options double it instead. The base sun damage values should, technically, be half of the undead-only damage. Again, though, this is just a nitpick from me. The weapon here is already overpowered with enchant stats way above what most relics get, I believe.
I edited the values of the sunfire version for myself, since I felt like 10pts Fire damage and 10pts sun (+20 for undead) sounded most reasonable to me. Taking away some of it's strenght against everybody, but I don't *know* for sure if 20 fire damage is a lot. If I get to late game and decide I can make way better enchants, I might revert it to 20. Otherwise I just wanted to keep in like with the "undead take triple" sun damage of vanilla, and changed it for myself.
Why did you settle on double? Is tripple too strong considering the already strong fire damage, especially since undead are weak to fire?
This might sound a bit of a dumb question to a modder that knows their stuff but is this mod compatible with Unlimited Charge for Daedric Artifacts and other Unique Items? If not can I edit it with the creation kit? (Asking for permission)
Oh oof, I just read that it has unlimited charges, not sure how I didn't see that one, sorry...

Sadly I no longer use this mod as I loving Reliquary of Myth - Artifact Overhaul at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
for my artifacts overhaul.
There won't be any issue. Dawnbreaker enchantment stats are not baked into saves.

Edit: found it :)

I use sun damage only.
