I'm not sure if I'll be doing any other Daedric quests any time soon, this was a lot harder than A House of Horrors. For now let's just chill and wait for Anniversary Edition to set our modlists on fire. (Yay!)

The fix to have Orchendor speak to you is to make a patch in xedit that patches for whatever overhaul mod you are using for Orchendor in this case since he is the npc affected. Eg - Modpocalypse NPCs - All Vanilla NPCs OR BruvRamm's Vanilla NPC Overhaul after making that patch load it after and Orchendor will now start speaking to you, just did this for the BruvRamm's mod and he's working properly now for me. I still don't get why a npc replacer mod that is just facedata could do this but I had to do the same for Thoron in Skyrim Extended Cut - Saints and Seducers as well
I just installed this and Orchendor talks, extra options appeared in dialog. But when I destroyed the ceremonial urn after receiving the Spellbreaker, nothing happens. Then I used Flames on the tree and it does not burn down either.
EDIT: I chose "I've had enough of you. Keep your tainted trinket." then I can complete the quest by destroying the urn, and Kesh Turned hostile. But the tree still does not burn down.
so why do i care if pyrite is furious with me will their be an slight increase of other diseases and ugly mugs about? is their a new poison dart assassin every 14 days? do i have to eat my wife pot roast?
Everything worked as advertised, except I was unable to speak with Orchendor... which was the main appeal of the mod, as far as I can gather. Without that interaction this mod solely provides a way to stick it to Peryite rather than do his bidding, which I suppose makes it still worth it for those who crave an anti-Daedra playthrough.
How would you know if I have mods messing with this mod? Is it displayed on my Nexus account?? Is that why the "Destroy The Dark Brotherhood" mod is acting weird for me too???

If a mod works or doesn't work isn't random based. They either work or they don't. The dialogue with Orchendor is triggered based on certain conditions. One of them requires a modification on Orchendor that my mod applies, but is probably overwritten in your game by another mod. That, or you have another mod modifying this quest or the scripts within it.
Same applies to Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, you must have a mod messing with my mod.
Would it be alright if I messaged you my mod list and load order to get your insight? I'd sincerely like to play and experience your mods to fullest so I can endorse. (many of which I have, save the "Destro DB" one)
Finally got around to playing through this on my modded Skyrim and just wanted to say it was brilliant. Felt just like how the quest should have been in vanilla. I admire the seamless integration of it - if I didn't remember I installed this mod, I would've thought it was all part of vanilla. Also the plan mentioned in Kesh's journal raises the stakes and gives Peryite a bit more respect in my opinion, considering his somewhat low reputation as a daedric prince in the lore. I use Daedric Shrines so interacting with Peryite was pretty dope. Thanks for this Jay!
Hey, love the idea of the mod, but I've run into an issue where after I talk to and then kill orchendor, the quest still says I need to talk to/kill him. Don't suppose you know the quest ID and stage so I can just mark it as complete?
there isn't even a The Only Cure - USSEP patch in it. i meant that jayserpa recently included USSEP changes to the .esp part, but haven't included the USSEP changes for this script that the patch i linked forwards
it only has a triple patch Wintersun - USSEP - The Only Cure Quest Expansion, obviously it's not for those who don't use Wintersun (like me). thanks jayserpa

but why patch for peryite shrine still have missing master?

Without that interaction this mod solely provides a way to stick it to Peryite rather than do his bidding, which I suppose makes it still worth it for those who crave an anti-Daedra playthrough.
My advice is to check in xEdit what compatibility issue you're having.
