Just curious to inquire as I read from the comments regarding a conflict with RDO an this mod. I'd really like to give this mod a try as I enjoy immersive mods for my skyrimbuild. Or has this been resolved?
Looking at the records, it appears to be just a dialogue condition conflict (the main dialogue condition from this mod, isn't present in RDO's version of the records) which can be easily resolved by loading this mod's esp after RDO, then forwarding the overridden conditions (the ones in red, to this mod's version of the records)
Hello, is the room really occupied by someone or should we take the innkeeper’s word for it?) Another question. And you had an idea, for example: in the prancing mare of Whiterun there is an excellent room upstairs, an apartment - raise the price for it, but if, for example, Dovahkiin has little money or the room is occupied, then the innkeeper could offer a room on the ground floor cheaper if she busy, let me sleep on a rug or something like that...) Forgive me, of course, for my wild imagination, it’s just that what you did was in my head, and I myself don’t know how to do such things yet 8 (Mod super, thanks, downloaded and installed =*
For some reason the sleeping giant inn is permanently fully booked. Since the first night in Skyrim, my character cannot sleep in it. (the character is level 15 by now). Any suggestion on how to fix this?
1. Open the wait menu inside the inn. 2. Wait 20 hours (or a custom amount of time if you assigned it.) 3. Check if it's still full. 4. If it is, use the following console command: set ANDR_InnsClosed_Chance_Global to 05. Open the wait menu and wait another 20 hours. 6. Set the inns closed global back to the previous value (33 by default)
Let me know if this works. If not, I'll send you some other console commands.
I have this mod as part of a wabbajack package and I wanted to turn it off, but disabling the mod for whatever reasons causes my game to immediatly CTD. Will setting the chance for inn to be closed to 0 with console commands work for never having an inn closed? I tried doing this, and setting the time to change to 1. I went outside the inn for 1 hour and came back and the inn was still closed.
You'll have to ask the one that made the Wabbajack package. I don't know if they made any changes to this mod in their list. CTD on startup is caused by a missing master, which means another file in the Wabbajack list requires it and also means it's highly likely they made changes to this mod.
As a rule of thumb, don't remove mods from Wabbajack lists, as it's going to break stuff.
Normally it takes about a day to reset. Unless the Wabbajack list changed that.
Is there also a chance that an inn is complete closed so you have to use a lockpick to come in? Because i had that case with bannered mare in Whiterun and i asked me which mod it was.
I have that problem sometimes too with the main door of the bannered mare being locked. The other door isn't. Haven't been able to track down which mod is causing it because it happens so randomly.
I notice that there's a conflict with RDO in the dialogue topic. Should I make my own patch which includes the conditions of both RDO and this mod, or I can just load this after RDO?
Decided to download this mod because immersion. While travelling through the frozen north, decided to stay at a local inn because it was getting late. Closed. It's ok, I have a mod that expands this city and adds an additional inn. Make my way to it. Also closed. It's ok, there is a smaller town not too far from here that also has an inn. Make my way to it. Closed. At this point my character is moving rather sluggishly due to the exhaustion debuff creeping in and given how there are no other nearby inns, I decide to just pull out a bedroll and sleep in a somewhat secluded area. Ended up waking up heavily debuffed from sleeping on the ground, being half frozen to death and a disease that I have caught from somewhere has apparently advanced to a next stage. 11/10 immersion, would download again.
But in all seriousnes, this a simple yet interesting mod that adds some unpredictability and a need to improvise to what is usually a simple, mundane gameplay feature. Paired with survival mods, it can actually make for a proper "uh-oh" moment :D
I've ran into a similar issue where Bannered Mare is always closed too. If I find something with my load order, I'll let you know. EDIT: Starting a new playthrough, it doesn't have issues. It's just on my current save; it's as if the timer never reset properly maybe, so it could be a typical Skyrim shenanigan.
Hi! This sounds like a great mod, I'll give it a try! Do you think you could make a patch for Holidays, so that when there's a holiday coming or happening, the chance of inns not having room would go up? Oh, and happy holidays everybody btw :D

Thanks for the suggestion, but that seems out of scope for this mod.
I'm curious too. Also, does RDO Lite also concerned by the problem ?
