What is this mod?
This mod seeks to add a bit more variety and user friendliness to various worldspaces in vanilla and mods, available in modular downloads so you only download what you want. This mod edits the top level record for its respective worldspace, so make sure to load the plugins very late in your load order, or forward the changes to any conflict resolution patch you have.
Bruma
- Adds Clouds.
- Adjusts camera limits to fit playable space.
- Brightens up and adds a bit more vibrancy to the default landscape terrain for map. Bruma's LOD cannot be generated while retaining all the distant terrain details so this is a way to spruce it up without needing to.
- Weather of World is recommended to give the Bruma map (i.e. Cyrodiil) a warmer feel, which when combined with this mod's Skyrim plugin gives a distinct look.
Wyrmstooth
- Adds Clouds fitted to the playable space and to hide the world edge.
- Adjusts camera limits and zoom to be a little less restrictive.
- Moves the travel markers to and from Wyrmstooth for easier visibility.
- Changes the arrow type of the travel markers. (Requires CoMAP)
- Adds custom weather for the Wyrmstooth map. (Requires Unique Map Weather)
Skyrim
- Adds custom weather for Skyrim's map. (Requires Unique Map Weather)
The custom weather gives Skyrim's map a colder feel more in line with vanilla, and was done this way so that it only affects Skyrim and not any other new lands that may benefit more from mods like Weather of World or Quality World Map.
Soul Cairn
- Adds a map with clouds.
- Adds map markers to various locations in the Soul Cairn.
- Gives Soul Cairn locations new custom marker designs. (Requires CoMAP)
- Unique Map Weather - Vanilla Additions is heavily recommended for its custom Soul Cairn weather.
Solstheim
- Adjusts camera limits and zoom to be a little less restrictive.
- Unique Map Weather - Vanilla Additions is recommended for its custom Solstheim weather.
Blackreach
- Adds a map with clouds.
- Adds map markers to various locations in the Blackreach (a few edits are available in the Optional Files section).
- Generated map LOD included
- Gives some Blackreach locations new custom marker designs. (Requires CoMAP)
- Adds custom weather for the Blackreach map. (Requires Unique Map Weather)
- If you wish to regenerate LOD, use the LOD Generation resources for your chosen method available in the Misc Files section. Instructions are in the file description for the given method.
NOTE: DynDOLOD rules are not yet defined, but for the time being, this mod can be loaded after your generated DynDOLOD output (both in file overwrites and esp load order) to function correctly.
