So, I'm sure this is a much lower priority than updating to the current version off AE, but is there any way you'd consider possibly adding Pandorable's NPC's/portraits into one of the resource packs with Bijin? To be clear, I 99% expect you to say 'No,' so no hard feelings, but I figured I'd at least try. I was going to do it myself, but I realized it requires that editor from Adobe that is no longer available, and I'm unable to do it myself. :( I even spent an hour with Adobe's tech support trying to find a solution and they refused to sell me a license, even though it is still up on their servers. I'm not one who generally resorts to the "black flag," method of getting around stuff like that, but in this case, I was actually tempted. /sigh
What I've done is getting my own screenshots, crop them, resize to 75x75. There's another application you can use to open .swf files. (FFDec). I downloaded this custom npc icon pack, followed the instructions from a tutorial video on replacing images in the swf. file and just replaced them with my own followers/pictures. I needed more slots and for some reason I just couldn't figure out how to get the template that was provided working without cs6, so what I did was expand the custom cps pack that was made, sometimes having to copy frames etc. and then just changing values/pictures. For some reason some attributes aren't set or I can't find a way to change them when I "create/add" them, hence why I had to resort to copying working ones and then editing them.
@Trompdoy would you mind sharing what video you watched? I'm stumped on some of my own projects involving Skyrim's .swf files and am trying to consume all the documentation I can.
@draelon Flash Pro got "replaced" by Adobe Animate, even though there are many functions they don't share... I would consider Flash Pro to be abandonware, so communities centered around dealing with abandonware might have some pointers for you.
Hello! Thanks for your work! I wanted to clarify if I have a Russian localization of the game, but the icons of the followers will only correspond to their class, but not the name, race or faction? Attempts to change the sequence of loading folders or manipulating them and settings did not give any effect)))
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/3813 I know it It sucks sorry. Good news though is that the upcoming version fixes this oversight.
Hello. I found a solution! https://github.com/jindrapetrik/jpexs-decompiler/releases/tag/version17.0.4 I found the source of information about her here last year: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31088 I didn’t rename each one (yes, I would go crazy), I just change the localization to a separate companion. It seems to me that it should work on all localizations (fingers crossed). Thanks for your work!
i dont understand any of the tutorial lol. I want to create an icon for Juliet Starling follower but i dont understand any of the tutorial. im not familiar with this type of things so it's hard for me. is there an alternative method to create the icon? easier method?
When I played with the ini file to adapt the icon to a character with a Japanese name. The image keeps shifting and getting weird. Is there any solution?
thank you so much <3 is there any chance you could upload .fla files as well, just wanted to change very minor things but i dont know if .swf files can be edited
