I have looked around, both in my data folder and online, and can't find any info on what "mntuni.bsa" is. I am having issues with the textures but can't find this BSA anywhere.
Does anyone have any idea where it is or what I need to do?
I am trying to get the IHO to work with the wild horses however i cannot adopt them in order to change armors looking forward for someone to help in getting it to work
however for now i am using "equipitem [item_code]" while the npc is clicked on in the console
In my testing, the issue is that the wild horse is not part of the potentialfollowerfaction, despite the mod author having added it to all the right places in the esp (as far as I know anyway!). The IHO scripts uses membership of this faction to test for what the scripts refer to as 'persistent', in which case one version of the menu is shown. For horses that fail this test a different version of the menu is shown with the 'adopt' option shown. But IHO will then check the horses 'breed' against a json list and if it finds a match the mod will fade the screen to black while the horse is replaced with a 'permaclone' of that breed that has all the right AI packages attached, these clones are defined in the esp and are based on templates in the esp. In vanilla game all horses are either unique and thus the author of IHO has edited their records in the esp or they are one of 5 breeds that have clones in the esp. The wild horses are new and do not have clones specifed in the esp, they are also not based off existing vanilla templates. Thus the adopt option will do nothing.
It is not this authors fault that the wild horses don't have that faction because they should, but use the console in game and you will see that they don't. So I first made a mod that would have permaclones for the wild horses https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/89235, but the latest version uses a script to add the faction after the horse is tamed. It also prevents (I hope) the IHO spell from working on the horse until it is tamed, the first version allowed to adopt the wild horse before taming. I'm cruel like that:) This requires an extra mod requirement that this patch doesn't, my mod is more complicated and if you just want everything but adoption then stick with this patch - which my mod initially required, but doesn't now.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - I downloaded and installed the latest version, but after the taming miniquest, the wild horse isn't Adoptable, so I can't access its inventory or use any of the IH functionality with it beyond the "temporary mount" mode.
Is there anyone willing to spend a huge effort for the IH and CC Wild Horses? I cannot adopt any of the wild horses, at all. I care neither for the reindeer nor the unicorn... None of the wild horses work. Can only adopt and change ownership or dismiss the purchased horses. The stat page of the wild horses indicate that my character owns the horse, but horse type is temporary while the purchased horses are permanent. Any way to remedy the problem? Is this on my end, due to the conflicts with other mods (no conflicts on xEdit), or is it a common issue with the latest ae updates?
Doesn't work with the Unicorn, nor with the Reindeer - IH made them stop teleporting after me. I tried other patches too but they didn't really fix the problems so I decided to uninstall the IH mod altogether and now I can't even ride the Creation Club horses. Be warned
