I have been using the dirt and now tried out the blood.  I do love the color/texture of the blood.  However, would you be willing to maybe do a 3rd option without such big splatters?  with smaller spots/streaks it would give the illusion of more randomness.  Anytime I get bloody I now notice this huge blood splat on my chest and it doesn't feel random anymore.  Thanks for your work on this!!

Thanks for a perfect suggestion. It certainly would cover the body more organically- plus it would be a needed improvement on the armor blood/dirt.  I've been wondering what to do for the next variant, and now I know.

This will be the basis for the final 8k Universal Version of the Dirt and Blood textures.
      (4k/2k versions will be made)

      Someone beat me to it!

      Please Use:
Zaki's 8k Dirt and Blood Textures.
It is a better mod and my personal preference for Dirt and Blood.

Sample Images of Oozaki's fantastic Dirt and Blood Textures:

The only problem I found with this mod is that when I enter a cave the dirt texture turns white, it's very strange, but I think it's because of the enb, I don't know how to solve it yet

      Rare Support Response:
Some skin retextures intentionally lack normal maps.  If your skin doesn't have them (or has the incorrect one), it could be the cause.  Could totally be the ENB as well.

Unfortunately I have the same issue with Cabbage ENB in dark environments. Other ENBs and using the original dirt texture from keep it clean seem to work. No idea how to fix it :(

This mod looks great, however, dirt textures sometimes bug out after using Wash and Rinse and just won’t go away. Any leads?

Dirt and Blood just does this sometimes.  Hit "restart player effects" in the MCM to fix it.

Hi! I have a question. Do I NEED keep it clean in order for this mod to work? As in, do I need that mod in order to get the dirt\Blood off? Since I'm unable to use the keep it clean mod? I feel like this is super immersive and i would love to add it to my game! but I don't know how it will work if I don't have the keep it clean mod. Thank you in advance :)

Or alternatively, do you know a mod I CAN use that is possibly compatible with this?

You need a mod to get the dirt/blood ON. There are 3 popular frameworks for doing so: Bathing In Skyrim, Keep It Clean, and Dirt & Blood.  They all work differently to serve a slightly different purpose.

Bathing In Skyrim is an immersive bathing mod with the deepest gameplay-altering experience.  Dirt only.
Keep It Clean is more lightweight and compatible.  Dirt only.
Dirt & Blood is an immersive dirtiness framework that comes with a simple bathing mechanic to wash it off.

The vanilla game already comes with a blood system that goes away on its own, so many people just go for dirt only.
But the Blood offered by Dirt & Blood and this mod is of much higher quality, and is also included in the bathing system.

Please check the required mods tab on the description page for links to them.

By saying install with MO2 do you mean overwrite the textures or leave it? I mean your files with blood and dirt.

I have never said that.  I would never say that.

      I use Vortex.

I use Keep it Clean.  I assume I only need New Dirt Textures - Keep it Clean Bathing in Skyrim (208.2 MB), and not the larger 483.6 MB file.

Also, I previously used Dirt and Blood HD Retexture.  Your mod replaces all its textures, but the ESP from that mod is still active.  If I use this mod, do I still need Dirt and Blood HD Retexture?

Correct.  You only need to download that file if you only use Keep It Clean.

I don't understand your second question. So you use both Keep It Clean and Dirt and Blood?  If that's the case, you want both files.

This mod conflicts with Dirt and Blood HD Retexture.  Choose one or the other.

So could I possibly use Dirt and Blood HD Retexture for blood textures and this mod for dirt textures?

Hi, sorry to bother you. I wanted to use your dirt texture as I thought it looks more natural, so I'm actually trying to do the same as mosquitobitten, but somehow, it doesn't work.

I'm putting your mod after Dirt and Blood HD Retexture in the load order, however, the Dirt and Blood HD Retexture's dirt texture is still showing up. I have no idea why it's happening. Do you know what is causing this issue? I would really appreciate if you could give me some advice on this.
      Thanks!

      Edit:
I had a look at the texture folder and made sure the dirt files are not changed (They were Dirt and Blood HD Retexture's ones), so I manually copied and pasted your files into the folder, and seems like it is working now.
