About this mod

A simple mod that introduces Light Armor variants of the Spell Knight armors, as well as some rebalancing to the initial stats.

Changelogs
I adore the Spell Knight armor. The design and overall quality are superb, and the associated quest is short, sweet, and satisfying. I love this content so much that I found myself wanting to use the armor on more than just Heavy Armor characters. And so, I made these small tweaks.

Details:
  • Light Armor variants for the Iron, Steel, and Ebony versions of the Spell Knight armor have been added.
  • All stats have been balanced around the appropriate corresponding Vanilla armor sets.
  • Iron Spell Knight armor is equivalent to Steel for Heavy Armor, and Leather for Light Armor.
  • Steel Spell Knight armor is equivalent to Steel Plate for Heavy Armor and Scaled for Light Armor.
  • Ebony Spell Knight armor is equivalent to Ebony for Heavy Armor and Glass for Light Armor.
  • Crafting and tempering recipes have been modified to reflect the changes to armor tiers, and the Light Armor variants can all be crafted and tempered, as well.
  • Light armor variants of the Iron Spell Knight armor require the Steel Smithing perk and the same materials as Vanilla Steel items.
  • Light armor variants of the Steel Spell Knight armor require the Advanced Armors perk and the same materials as Vanilla Scaled items.
  • Light armor variants of the Ebony Spell Knight armor require the Ebony Smithing perk and the same materials as Vanilla Ebony items.
  • As with the original creation, you must complete the associated quest before crafting any of the items.
  • This mod is ESL-flagged, and will not take a slot from your 255 Plugin limit.

Installation:
Download and install through your preferred mod manager. This mod should be safe to install at any point. While I do not foresee any issues should you decide to uninstall it during a playthrough, I do not recommend doing so, simply as a general rule. I will be unable to provide any troubleshooting assistance if you decide to do so.

Compatibility:
Any mod that directly alters the records associated with the original armor, crafting, or tempering records will be incompatible. Perk overhauls should be compatible as long as they use the original Vanilla perk records for their perks, which has been my experience with the most popular offerings.
