I always felt that the Civil War in Skyrim was incredibly lacking. Your choices were limited to joining a racist fanatic, or joining the same group of morons who tried to decapitate you in the beginning of the game. There was no personal element to any of the choices you made, it felt like you were just along for the ride for the sake of something to do.

This mod changes that. This mod adds Radolph Bearclaw, a Nord Follower who is deeply passionate about healing Skyrim. Radolph features over a 100+ unique lines of dialogue centered around the Civil War, and provides a personal element that I feel was missing from the base game.

HOW TO START.
(Note, if you have already done the Civil War, this mod will be useless. It's recommended that you download this and play it on a save where you HAVEN'T DONE ANY of the Civil War questline. That includes joining the Legion/Stormcloaks.) 

DO NOT IMPORT HIM TO FOLLOWER FRAMEWORKS THAT CHANGE HIS AI. There is a patch for NFF, I don't use AFT or EFF, but if they ask to import him, don't.

I recommend starting the quest after you have slain the dragon with Irileth, and returning to Dragonsreach to speak with Jarl Barlgruuf. After his dialogue about the Greybeards, go into Faarengar's office and on the table you will find a book titled "A New Voice Emerges". The quest starts there!

Couple of notes, speak with Radolph AFTER completing quests in the Civil War ( due to how the Civil War questline works, my rule of thumb is if you see the Quest Completed Dialogue appear across the screen, it's probably a good idea to speak with Radolph, particularly AFTER joining the Legion/Stormcloaks)
It is IMPERATIVE that you speak to Radolph INSIDE the final fort area (Hraggstad on the Stormcloak side, Amol on the Imperial) this is CRUCIAL to getting his last bit of dialogue to fire.

HIGH POLY HEAD IS MANDATORY. Radolph is built with High Poly Meshes, and no, I'm not making a version without it XD

Q. Radolph doesnt have options for me to change his inventory, and he won't do favors or wait.
A. That's intentional, Radolph isn't designed to be a standard follower :)

Q. I can't find Radolph during "Battle for Whiterun (Imperial) 
A. Skyrim has an annoying habit of locking followers inside the gate, if that happens no big deal, just go back inside the gate once the battle is over and talk to Radolph.

Q. Who voices Radolph?
A. I did! That's actually my fulltime job, I'm a professional voice actor and vocal coach.

Q. Can we make patches?
A. Absolutely. I tested Radolph to make sure he was compatible with over 700 mods in my playthrough, but if you find something that needs a patch please feel free.

Q.Can you marry Radolph?
A. I got asked this question a lot, and the short answer is no. Marriage would be, ahem, difficult to say the least XD
