This is a port to SSE of the original Skyrim mod Hearthfire Songbirds with permission from the original authors.
You may not redistribute, upload or otherwise use the assets of this mod in any way without express permission from the original authors.
Mod cannot be uploaded anywhere else other than nexus without express permission from the authors.

While Oriella sings ably and tunefully, her counterpart Sonir has a less favourable reputation, with her music hall delivery, 'singing' phrases more like the punchline to a dirty joke than a song. Perhaps her new look will make her caterwaul din a little less penetrating.
There's also a new girl in town for those who wish it, as Llewellyn seems to have gone mental with the Face Sculptor's services and changed gender (insert rainbow here), now preferring to be known as Myfanwy. I hope my fellow Brits approve of this name change. :D
Mod does what?
Updates the appearance of Hearthfire bards Sonir and Oriella.
Optional update to change the gender of Llewellyn to female.
Details
The mod only provides updated head data and hair, as these are fairly minor characters who I didn't think warranted fully customizable unique folders for meshes/textures as with other replacers. It also keeps the mod's size down for such a minor update.
Mod does not include any mesh/texture data except for hair.
Mod does not affect default meshes/textures.
Mod does not include any armour/clothing variations seen in screenshots.
Requirements
Skyrim updated to the latest version.
Hearthfire DLC.
Installation
NB: Each download contains all the data for Sonir and Oriella, while version 0.1a also includes the Llewellyn update. Install one or the other depending on your preference.
Install via NMM.
Manual install: install manually.
If updating from one version to the other, please un-install the previous version first.
Un-install
Un-install via NMM if the mod was installed that way.

As well as deleting HearthfireBards.esp and the hair meshes/textures in the characters folder, ensure to delete the facegendata for references:

Known Issues
Introductory speech from 'Myfanwy' has no sound, as it was intended for a male voice and still states their name as 'Llewellyn'.
There may be grating, screeching and other terrifying noises. Don't worry, that's perfectly normal; Sonir just sings like that.
Llewellyn's voice is originally 'male young eager', which if I'd just changed to 'female young eager' she would have had the same singing voice as Sonir. As such, I changed it to 'female even toned' so the song selection is not what it would normally be. I presumed this was preferable to having yet another screeching harpy trying to sing.
Characters use default textures so their look is dependent on what you have installed, or not as the case may be. For the screenshots, I have used SG Renewal Female Textures and Specular maps with normals from Fair Skin Complexion, if you wish to try and get the same look.

As I've stated on my other mods, I'm not trying to create uber-Glamazons, just regular pretty girls (that being subjective and opinion, of course). Due to her singing, I've tried to make Sonir a bit young and cheeky looking, while Oriella and Myfanwy are probably more traditionally pretty.
