FIXED!! Bitdefender and others will no longer falsely flag this as a virus.. good to go again!! All of the sudden this is getting flagged from various virus scanners.. False positive?? Multiple vendors are flagging it.. not sure what happened it's worked fine since release but now is popping up as a problem ????
Yes, I am seeing that, too. All of a sudden. Several versions of this mod, including the current version, are triggering multiple scanners.
My paid, NOT MS, malware scanner reported them. Keyword Item Distributor-55728-3-0-1-1681605673.7z for example gets 9 out of 61 on VirusTotal at the time I scanned it today. Came here to report.
I have submitted it to my malware scanner's company to check it out. I would suggest anyone else seeing it to do the same.
These things almostalways turn out to be false positives, and no doubt this one will be as well, but worth checking out. Especially after this recent incident. lol
My antivirus program also sounded the alarm. Infected file found now Function: Virus protection The file Keyword Item Distributor-55728-3-4-0-1710234193.7z.unfinished is infected with Gen:Variant.Lazy.506644. The threat has been successfully blocked, your device is safe.
I wish I could use the file, but my antivirus won't let me. What could be the problem? Can you give me an explanation? Thank you! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
Its the VR folder .dll that's being flagged as a virus, nothing I can do. Even if i make a exception to it i can't restore the file and even if redownload the mod comes already damaged. (bitdefender user)
Finally, the same file now gets 0/61 detections after we all reported it to our anti-malware companies. It was probably slower than normal due to it occurring on a weekend. Thanks everyone!
I got this one problem, that appeared after latest update. I am still trying to diagnose, if this is the culprit, but the crash I get, my crashlogger doesn't make log file. On this mods log it says "INFO - MergeMapper not detected" and I checke that I have it, and I even reinstalled it, but still this persists. If there is any tips on why this is, or other ways to try diagnose CTD when crashlogger doesn't make crash file, I would greatly appreciate the aid
Windows not allowing download of 3.4 - Can't download because virus detected Edit: Could you look at this please, I am able to download other files from nexus, and to test I was able to download a file from the old files section but not v3.4. I can see it has been downloaded by others, so a bit confused atm.
Edit 2: Was able to download with Mod Manager, but not manually?
Wildcards [strings] : get all items that have name or keyword containing wildcard, using * (eg. *Iron to get Iron Sword/Iron Bow/Iron Cuirass). Do the keywords in the name support languages other than English, such as Chinese?
I know the Shout form doesn't accept keywords. but can KID make this possible?
Edit: I tried but can't see anything in the lookup section

This is how i write the code ;Fireball Keyword = Fireball_Dkey|NONE|L_DragonFireBallShout,L_DragonFireBallShoutALDUIN2,L_DragonFireBallShoutODAH|NONE|100
My new mod ; making dragons use varied shouts, consistently ( as supposed to spamming that highest damage ability; which the daft, default AI does). There are many more new features but i don't believe anything on nexus has achieved this.
Tried countless methods, many nights of research, including seeing if Power's new mod (item equip restricter) would work. But i finally did it in the end :)
This is a mod, but its purpose is helping other mods to work. By itself, it does nothing that we would notice during the game. Instead, many other mods depend on this one to be able to do the neat things that they do.
To use this mod, it isn't actually necessary to understand what it does. Simply install it if you want to use other mods that require it. (Trust the mod because it has oodles of endorsements and the author is extremely appreciated.) You do need to also have the three mods that Keyword Item Distributor requires (five if you're a lucky dog with a virtual reality setup). Those three other required mods are the same kind of thing: mods that exist purely for helping other mods to work.
Greetings, I've been using KID successfully for a while now, but I've found a use case that I'm having trouble with.
For example, distributing a keyword to every vanilla armor containing "Forsworn Armor" in it's name would be Keyword = Test|Armor|*Forsworn Armor,Skyrim.esm
But if I try to do something similiar, except this time not using wild cards because I need it to be the exact match, the keyword would be added not only to every armor exactly called "Forsworn Armor" but every other armor from Skyrim.esm as well. This would be Keyword = Test|Armor|Forsworn Armor,Skyrim.esm
I know removing ",Skyrim.esm" would avoid adding the keyword to all of the other armors, but this would also apply the keyword to every "Forsworn Armor" added by other plugins which is not desired.
Is there a way to add a keyword by matching exact name and filtering by plugin? I'd rather avoid using formID~plugin.esx since I would have to do it for a lot of individual armors.
Is it possible to add multiple entries separated by a comma in this case? I tried Keyword = Test|Armor|Mod Armor A+Mod.esp,Mod Armor B+Mod.espBut it's not working, neither armor gets the keyword
I've got a clarification question. On the description page, this is listed as an example:
;Add sun damage keyword to magic effects with sun hit art Keyword = MagicDamageSun|Magic Effect|0x02019C9D,0x0200A3BB,0x0200A3BC However, I've also seen at least one comment that said including the initial two digits of the FormID after the '0x' would make the code fail due to variability based on load order. I can figure, however, that the DLCs having a fixed load order might matter here, because those FormIDs are from Dawnguard.
So what I'm asking is, if I'm trying to add a keyword to a specific record from one of the official DLCs, how should I write the FormID for the DLC item? How would I list a record from one of the CC plugins? Should '020176F4' turn into '0x176F4' or '0x020176F4'?
For the 5 official plugins with static FormIDs (Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, HearthFires.esm, and Dragonborn.esm) several formats will work. 020176F4 should parse correctly as `0x020176F4`, `0x20176F4`, `0x0176F4~Dawnguard.esm`, or `0x176F4~Dawnguard.esm`.
For any other plugin, including Creation Club plugins, you should use the `0x345678~PluginName.esx` format for non-esl-flagged plugins and `0x678~PluginName.esx` for esl-flagged plugins.
Yo! I was hoping you could help me, or anyone but this might ping u (idrk how nexus works) and you seem really versed in this utility - I have made ini files the distributor can read. it says it has generated them - they're 3 ini's in a zip folder for ease of access if that matters- but i cant find the keywords in creation kit. I cant find any guides on this situation and im kinda stuck
