If you are having problems with this mod, double check your version of papyrusutil and mcm helper and be sure they are the correct version for your version of the game.

i'm a noob to settings loaders. i just downloaded it and installed it. i expected it to save my settings. i dont know if legacy setting loader is different than settings loader. i have tried other settings loaders - they work perfectly fine as intended.
I can no longer see the maintenance section in the MCM menu.
I had previously managed to save the settings when the maintenance section was visible and they properly load for new games so its not a super pressing issue however the maintenance tab is not visible anymore. I also have your settings loader for Less Intrusive Hud and it is working properly so I'm just confused.
Thought this mod wasn't working, but started a new game and boom, it's there and everything works. There may be ways to get this to show up without starting a new game but this was my experience.

Does this require the AE version of Papyrusutil because that is the latest version available. The version I have is the last SE version available from that mod and the settings aren't appearing. I'm not updated for AE so I cannot use the latest Papyrusutil file.

I have a question for your entire settings loader mods season. I'm translator and I'd like to understand how your mods should be translated. I found few problems here and there depending on technics you used. For this particular mod I have translated mcm menu in basic mod and I have translated your setting loader. But for some reasons it is not appearing in game, although base mod menu is working and initial loading of options also works. BTW I had duplicated menu at the beginning, but solved it by xEdit compacting solution. This problem do not exists when MCM Menu helper is used by your settings loader and base mod. But other technics are not consistent in behavior for translation effort. May I have your comments, what you consider crucial for your settings loader appearing in MCM menu of basic mod. Hello MaskedRPGFan, I also get the MCM menu twice with my esl-yfied iHud.esp. Is there a fix I can do myself (other than going back to the original iHUD.esp obviously) ?
Just curious, the fix you provided to the other chap, is it load order specific? If so, I will just revert to the regular .esp. I mean you cannot send fixes to all of us individually. Cheers and thanks for this whole series, I am only starting with it.
Oh, wow. i did not mean to trouble you that way. I was expecting more of a guide. Thank you. I really do appreciate it. However if I may suggest posting a text or image guide to use doing this manually in case of future updates from yourself or iHud.
Mind giving a small guide on this? Easy enough to do in xedit no doubt, but i'll just forget to try fixing it long enough to actually get it working myself.
SSEedit should be able to do this automatically. If you load the iHUD.esp (before ESLing) and iHUD Settings Loader.esp together in SSEedit then Compact FormIDs, it will update the settings loader plugin to reflect the new FormIDs.
