About this mod

My personal version of Shouts in the Dragon Tongue - Special Edition. I did a version that, for me, includes "best of both worlds", with a balance between English and Dragon Tongue. ESPFE (ESP lagged ESL). Patches for several mods are included

The original mod from LE as well as the SE version, currently under the "NexusModCaretaker", have two issues that did not fit my taste:

1- You get the names in Dragon Tongue but not the translation of each word.
2- In order to fit the words in the name of the shout, or for aesthetic reasons, they changed (by abbreviating it) the original vanilla name. As a result, if you don't know by memory what the shout does, the abbreviated title would not help at all to quickly identify the one you want to select.

For example:
- Frost Breath was called "Frost" and there are two shouts involving some kind of Frost effect.
- Summon Durnehviir was called "Summon" and Call Dragon was named simply "Call", so, at first glance, you would not immediately know which one is each.

On the other hand, and the reason this mod exists is that in the vanilla game you never get to see the word in Dragon Tongue spelled out.

In my take, I made it so it has the "best of both worlds".

As can be seen in the screenshots, you will be able to see the full name of the shout as well as the original words that constitute it. In the other columns, you get vanilla translations. Match by order and you will know which word means what and you get "best of both worlds".

Patches:
Patches are meant to be installed alone, there is no need to download the first main file here. Only the version that applies to you and place it after the mod that is patching (i.e Thunderchild, Shout tweaks...)

One for Shout Tweaks by szaumoor. Any problems that this patch may cause, please must be addressed on that mod page. I only forwarded the names from this mod while maintaining the changes introduced by szaumoor.

The same goes for the patch available for EnaiSaion's Thunderchild. It includes also the new shouts added by this mod.

A patch for Forceful Tongue is up thanks to @TobesTobelle. Same drill.

A patch for Shout - A Complete Immersive and Dynamic Overhaul of all Shouts is included as well. Same drill.

F.A.Q

- This mod is safe to install mid-game and uninstall whenever you like. It is also safe to just replace the previous SE version with this one. Besides the warning that a mod is missing from SSE Engine Fixes, nothing else will happen, this kind of mod does not touch your save file in any way.

- This mod can't cause you CTD, it only changes names on the UI, if after installing this you are crashing, probably you overwrite some other mod that modifies the shouts and that is causing the CTDs.

- This mod will conflict with others that make changes to shouts, as Shout Tweaks and Thunderchild do. It's very simple to open both in SSEEdit and make yourself a patch or just drag the names from this mod to the other one.

- Perk mods, such as Ordinator, will sometimes strengthen the Shouts by other means. Ordinator is fully compatible, no patch is needed.

- If you don't know much about SSEEdit and want to play safe, place this mod as low in the LO as possible (and by low I mean with a smaller load number than the others that may conflict, i.e, above [closer to the top] in the plugin list [right panel] of MO2. If you do this and the names are not showing as they should be, you need a patch.

- The UI replacer in the screenshots is Dear Diary, this mod is of course compatible with it and with any UI replacer out there.

-  This mod will not occupy a slot in your LO being an *.esp flagged as ESL.
