Since I was once a smooth brain like many of the comments here, I will help my fellows out. Mind you, I'm assuming you're using an updated mod manager.
Create a new folder and name it whatever you want. Within that folder create this folder structure: meshes/actors/character/animations Place the animations you want into the animations folder. Now unto the animations themselves.
You'll have to change their names for them to work, for example: (One-handed sword forward piercing_medium range)1hm_attackpowerfwd.hkx Delete everything except for: 1hm_attackpowerfwd.hkx Or for example: (Strike forward with two-handed sword)2hm_attackpowerforward.hkx
Delete everything except for: 2hm_attackpowerforward.hkx Now the animation will work. I suggest making copies so you won't forget what animation is what.
Once you've filled up your animations folder, go back to the folder you've named whatever you wanted, and turn it into an archive using 7zip. Place it into your mod manager and install as normal. Don't forget to run either FNIS or Nemesis.
Thank you, @groundpia for doing the heavy lifting. And the og authors for giving permission. Happy modding, everyone.
And who did skypia copy? All of the original animators. That's call plagiarism.
I got permission, he didn't. I gave the animators credit, he didn't.
That's WHY... I can post it here, he can't ;)
Also, i know exactly how this stuff works.
What @Brianb00 needs to do it just setup the proper folder structure. meshes\actors\ character\animations\ (drop your animations here and rename them to not have the comments at the beginning)
then zip that up and drop it into your mod manager of choice.
i appreciated for the work you put into this mod but the name you named in these file so bad honestly ,why don't u just name it after the gif ? why must explain it in the name for what? the gif do that for u already . just name like this then it will easier for anybody find animation they want like this (attaricoaf - Sekiro Whirlwind Slash)1hm_attackpowerforwardsprint.HKX .
