About this mod
This mod simply silences the bat sounds of the vampire lord in the game. Especially useful for long range flights in bat travel form.
- Permissions and credits
I've fallen in love with the mod "Bat Travel Vampire Power" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20730?tab=description). You can roam around immersively in bat form. While that is a beautiful thing, the bat sound actually makes me want to throw away my headphones after 20 seconds. So this mod fixes this circumstance by simply replacing those sounds with an empty WAV-File. I even feel it is more immersive since my vampire character has effectively become numb to these sounds after 30 years of being a vampire (just like you don't hear yourself breathing usually).
Installation: Install with a mod manager of your choice or simply drop the files into your skyrim, where the .exe is located. It should be save to remove or add this mod during any point of a playthrough. I can't imagine how that should break anything.
Incompatible with: Every single mod that alters the bat power sound files.
Known bug: While in Bat Travel Form (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20730?tab=description), you hear the footsteps of your character occasionally. You couldn't hear them before, because the bats were too loud (that's probably too loud, right?) That's not a mistake on my part, and I don't have the ability to fix that. Send much love to the original author please. DidymusEi's mod is simply amazing.
Side effect: All bat related powers will be beautifully silent now.
