Changelogs
Version 1.4
It seems like the mod wasn't seeing the required scripts in the BSA version for some people, so I uploaded a seperate loose files version instead.
Version 1.3
Made some changes to how the spell works, no longer requiring the Sleight of Hand quest for anything aside from doing some checks for when an item is added to the player's inventory
The mod now does a check against the player's pickpocket skill every time they take an item from the NPCs inventory. If it fails, the last item taken gets taken by the NPC and the player gets a bounty.
Tweaked the default values a bit more, which should hopefully speed up the spell a bit.
Version 1.2
Now the player can determine how many items they can steal before the NPC is notices. If the player goes over this limit, a bounty will be placed on them.

What it Does I've been wanting a mod that made Pick pocketing someone a little more subtle, so I made this pretty light mod that does just that. All you have to do is activate the lesser power "Sleight of Hand" and walk passed your target within 10 seconds, making sure to get within at least a few in-game feet, or "bumping" distance". The chance of successfully pick pocketing someone is determined solely by your pick pocketing skill. There are options in the MCM menu that let you set how close the NPC needs to be for a successful pick pocket as well as your bounty for when you are unsuccessful. Once you gain access to the NPC's inventory, you will only be able to select a certain number of items (Default of 3, Configurable in MCM) before the NPC notices. If you take anymore items, you will be kicked out of the inventory and you will receive a bounty.
How it Works: I've probably over-engineered the hell out of this but basically the mod "draws a circle" around the player and samples a point along the circle, checking for the closest NPC near that point. The mod is fully configurable in the MCM menu.
Quick video on how the mod checks for NPCs around the player:
How to Get: You can find the Book: "Legerdemain: Sleight of Hand" at the Bar in the Ragged Flagon. Or you can use AddItemMenu and search for it there.
Incompatibilities: Honestly, no idea. Tested it on my play-through with 800+ mods for all of about 10 minutes. If there are any, make sure to let me know =D - It seems that some folk may need to clean their save file in order to get this mod to work. Not sure why yet but for those having issues, give that a try and lemme know if it fixes it.
