About this mod

This mod allows you to quickly equip SkyUI Favorite Group Equip States with the Easy Wheel Menu.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Requires Easy Wheelmenu and therefore also SkyUI and UI Extensions.

SkyUI's Favorites menu allows you to organize spells, powers, or equipment into Groups and save an "Equip State" of spells in the same group(tutorial here). This can be used just to organize favorites if you want, but It also allows you to map these Equip States to hotkeys. These hotkeys will then equip the spells, powers, and/or equipment you saved, allowing you to prepare up to 8 different Equip States.

This mod allows you to access these Equip States via the Easy Wheel Menu. This allows mouse and keyboard users to access what previously would have required eight hotkeys with just one single hotkey, but more importantly allows gamepad users to actually make use of SkyUI's Favorite Group Equip States--natively, in game, with minimal MCM configuration. This functionality has been requested a few times and while this does not necessarily have all of the same features as ie
Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect, it should be very exciting for anyone
who plays Skyrim with a gamepad.

You can also name your equip groups by editing the translations file outside of the game. Whatever is in the rightmost column of that file is what will appear on the corresponding wheel menu option, so if you know that you will always, for example, want your option 1 to be sword and shield, go ahead and write that in. No one's stopping you. These changes will, however, persist across different characters and saves, so YMMV.

FAQ:

Q: Is this compatible with X?
A: Probably? This mod is literally just a new front end for Easy Wheelmenu (no requirements except for UI Extensions) and event map for SkyUI (probably the single most broadly compatible/required mod on the Nexus). It should be compatible with just about everything.

Q: Can you make it so I can see what I'm going to equip?
A: Not really, no. The strings that show up on the menu are loaded from the translations file and AFAICT those can't be dynamic, and I'm not about to buy/steal Adobe Flash tools to fix UI Extensions and/or Easy Wheelmenu. If someone updates those mods to allow them to display arbitrary text I'll consider incorporating it, but otherwise, no.

Q: Can you make it so that the Wheel Menu uses the group icon?
A: Same answer as above but because the Wheel Menu doesn't support images, only strings. Sorry

Q: Why not just use More Hotkeys Please / AH Hotkeys / the base SkyUI Group Hotkeys / etc?
A: Yeah, if you're not using a game pad, there are probably better hotkey options out there. But for gamepad players our options tend to be limited to overly complex button remappings, Steam Input schemes, or settling for the base hotkey system. This--hopefully--is better.
