Version 3.0 adds perks via Campfire system to improve the potency of the Study Book blessings and the Necromancer Walking Stick. Earn perk points by using a Study Book once per day.

Creating the perk tree for the campfire is fairly straightforward thanks to Chesko's fine explanation found on his tutorials on skyrimsurvival.com. Thanks, Chesko!

Would there be any possible chance for a patch to make the greater camp to work with survival mode?. the temperature bubble has no effect.

I made a Survival Mode patch included with my other Campfire add-on mod, "Eremite Camping" so campfires and Travel Cloaks provide warmth along with a few other Campfire enhancements. To get just the patch, download "Eremite for Campfire Lite (patch only)" file. With that the Conjured Abode and other conjured shelters will provide warmth for Survival Mode as long as there is a burning fire of 'Flickering' or greater. Would that be what you're looking for?

Im actually already using the full version. id have to stand right near the fire for me to not be freezing. Do I need the lite version aswell?

Full Eremite version is all you need. I just tested in game Survival Mode: conjured a shelter on cold mountain, lit the fireplace, and upgraded the starter fire to Flickering. The sun icon appeared and my character warmed. The starter fire isn't warm enough, so remember to upgrade it.

If a lit fireplace (Flickering or Crackling) not working, does building a normal campfire work? You can build it just outside the bubble.

Idk what I did maybe was reinstalling or messing with the load order but its working fine now. mightof been a skyrim hiccup sorry for wasting your time. I do have one suggestion for the eremite mod and that is cooking meat at a campfire fire does not require salt as every other cooking place does now with survival mode. idk if i should post this here but figured you should know incase anything can be done. thanks for the mods!

Same as arranging lantern light sources for a tent in Campfire Dev Kit, just placed lantern near post instead of on a table. I like them hanging

Oh is the ring it's hanging from a separate object? I like it hanging too :)

Oh I see, yes I did use a different lantern for that one. I usually use the plain Lantern (0009151C) with ring flopped over, but for that hanging one I used CandleLanternwithCandle01 (0002D847) as it has a ring standing up straight for hanging. Yeah, the lantern with flopped ring against a post looks like ring holds lantern outward rather than hanging which is how I use it in one of the tents.

(edit:) Update - this same file is now part of official Campfire v1.12.1SE - download official. See Chesko's post on Campfire page: forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4982985-campfire-complete-camping-system/page-115#entry63336891.

(file removed) In Optional Files I shared a fix for Campfire v1.12SE. See my post over on Campfire page for details. Install Chesko's Campfire 1.12SE first then overwrite with my Campfire.esm file.

    Summary Campfire v1.12 fixes:
Made Campfire.esm a true master to properly support Frostfall and other add-ons. Set global IsSpecialEdition to avoid message and more meant for 32-bit players. Fixes campfire lighting due to a missing keyword prevented the kneeling animation from playing. Chesko intended to remove keyword for VR, but prevents activating campfire furniture object.

OMG I totally love your MOD! Wow! --- Makes my frostfall inspired necromantic walkthrough much more immersive! Thanks a ton for this!

One question though, and this a small request if possible, is there a way to make a single bedroll tent for us small necros that play hardcore and have to watch their weight? I usually play lone wolf and the extra bedroll and space (alongside the weight) make it sometimes a bit hard for me to carry most of my regular stuff :)

I know there are spells with storage further along the line, but they feel kinda cheaty to me at low levels (found the scrolls for sale in Morthal at level 16) but sometimes I miss the simplicity of the standard campfire single tents and would love a small skull here or there for my lonely necro that goes to the mountains to just meditate and enjoy the solitude, so I usually end up using the regular fur tents with 12 units of weight, but would love something with an extra skull or spine to feel the necro love on a smallish tent haha.

Again, thank you a TON for this mod, it indeed has made my game much better! (LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE Necro Walking Stick so Badass!!!!) Big hugs to you from this little side of the planet! Big love to you man! yay!

My mage traveled light. He set the larger tents as permanent camps located near regular travel routes, and carried the Necromancer Bed-roll without tent. If too cold then camped inside a cave. Travel light.

Unfortunately I painted myself into a corner building files optimized for SE which aren't backward compatible meaning I'd have to remake the new assets for classic Skyrim. Sorry. I didn't think anyone was actually using this mod

Since ashleyclark used the magic word, for the version 3 update I'll attempt to rebuild broken assets for LE and mark as beta.

Craft using Campfire's Resourcefulness - Create Item. The Study Table is an add-on to the tents and the portable alchemy set, so first craft a hut, tent, or alchemy set then you'll be able to upgrade one of those with a Study Table choice of Necromancer or Daedric.

Necromancer's Tent (big one) may be purchased or crafted at a tanning rack. Necromancer's Hut and Two-bed Hut may only be crafted using Campfire's Create Item. After that Necromancer's Study Hut or Tent will become available in the crafting menu. I decided to keep the study upgrades hidden until having the required basic hut/tent to help reduce long list of items in your menu.

Alchemy Set requires purchase of "Mortar and Pestle" and "Alchemy Alembic" from an alchemy vendor along with, linen wraps, fur plate, leather strips, and firewood. Use Resourcefulness - Create Item power.

This is excellent work! For the life of me I cannot figure out how to upgrade the necromancer 2 bed tent to get the study table... Maybe me beign stupid but what is 'Campfire Craft Item'? what exactly do I have to do?

Currently only the single-bed hut has the upgrade to study table; the two-bed hut lacks this upgrade. I need to work out how best to fit the table with both bedrolls and not be in the way. I may end up arranging the table hanging outside a bit. I'll see what I can do.

      Thanks for the reminder

In my game, I've been setting up two huts, one for me with study table and a two-bed hut for my follower. Even if player character sits in Study Hut, the follower sits in the two-bed hut.

Done. v1.2 now supports upgrading Two-bed Hut with Study Table, choice of Necromancer book or Daedric book. With existing hut in inventory, use Resourcefulness to craft upgrade.
