About this mod

A dual sheath patch for Pathaktanay27's Ebony Damascus Blades.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
This is just a quick little dual patch I made for Pathaktanay's Ebony Damascus Blades mod, and I wanted to share it for anyone else who uses a dual sheath mod (like Ecotone Dual Sheath or the Oldrim Version of Dual Sheath Redux if you managed to convert it to SE and get it working properly) and would love to dual wield these beautiful Ebony Damascus blades.

Requirements:

1. Pathaktanay's Ebony Damascus Blades
2. Either Ecotone Dual Sheath or a working and self converted version of Dual Sheath Redux from Oldrim (the files will work for either, just use whichever one you already have or is easiest for you to figure out)
3. Skyrim Special Edition
4. Any additional requirements of anything already mentioned

Installation:

Step 1: Download and install using your mod manager of choice (please use a mod manager, it will make your life so much easier)

Step 2:  Follow the instructions for your dual sheath mod to recognize the new meshes and automatically use them in game

Step 3: Load up the save-game of your choice, get two of the weapons from Pathaktanay's mod and equip them

Step 4: Slice, dice, look cool with your symmetrical sheaths, and profit

FAQ:

Q: Do you have permission to make this patch for Ebony Damascus Blades?

A: Yup, I was specifically told to make the patch and release it as my own mod because Pathaktanay is tied up working on other amazing weapon mods.

Q: Do you have a self converted version of Dual Sheath Redux since you mention it so much?

A: Yes.

Q: Could you tell me how you self converted it?

A: Unfortunately no, I can barely remember what I ate for lunch yesterday, much less how I DIY converted an Oldrim mod to Special Edition a year or so ago. If you really want to know, google it and find a video, that's almost definitely how I figured out how to get it to work for Special Edition.

Q: Could you help me install Ecotone then?

A: I mean I probably could but the instructions for that mod are on it's mod page, so you should just follow those and ask for help with that mod on that mod page.

Q: What armor is your character wearing in the screenshots?

A: Dragonbone Ebonsteel Armor by Dreogan here on the Special Editon Nexus.

Q: Will you make a mod that requires actual effort instead of something that could be done by anyone?

A: Not with that attitude I won't. But honestly I don't think I have any useful or interesting ideas for mods, this is just a hobby for me, and there are so many mod authors here on the nexus that are so much more creative and talented than me; and that's okay because I have enough stress without having to worry about releasing mods to satiate the masses.

Q: Are you a girl?

A: Well my username would imply that I am, now wouldn't it? But that's not your business so... why would you care?

Q: Why are so many of these FAQs written in the tone you wrote them in?

A: Because I'm imagining all the things people might say, and then writing a script on how I think it would go, but attempting to make it funny in a sarcastically humorous way because I think I'm hilarious even though only my best friend consistently laughs at my jokes.

Bethesda for making the game

Pathaktanay for making the meshes that I used to make the patch

Ecotone for Ecotone Dual Sheath (if that's what you use)

Neovalen for Oldrim Dual Sheath Redux (personally converted to Special Edition by anyone else who also still uses it)

Slothability for the tutorial that first taught me how to make dual sheath mod patches

Thanks for checking this out, and if you like this let me know, I could use a little boost of serotonin and dopamine.   :~D
